Mercurio’s is a family-owned and operated Italian eatery located in Shadyside and O’Hara. Anna, Michael, and Joe are a sibling trio that has grown up in the business started by their parents in 1999. We are officially the 'Burgh's Best Pizza voted by 100.7. Come check us out and see for yourself!

The food is excellent as well as the staff. The margherita pizza is authentic. We enjoy our time each visit.

Food and service was amazing! It is a tight location so with big parties it gets very loud. Reservations are recommended we watched them have to turn multiple parties away!

I could reserve here on Opentable, but when I got there the restaurant was close!! So angry!

We went here to celebrate my 40th birthday with family, and it happend to be a very hot and humid day and their air conditioner broke. The service staff gave with this huge problem was outstanding. Our server was top notch, she was pleasant and attentive. She took my toddlers order right away and even recommended the pizza he might like and he loved it. She made sure we had ice and extra drinks. The manager made the whole restaurant hand held fans, while she and her staff were on the roof fixing the air conditioner unit. A busboy even found my cousin a hair tie so she could pull her back. The staff is amazing and went above and beyond for us. The food was delicious, the aracini was was some of best I ever had. Gelato was wonderful. I would highly recommend this place not just for the wonderfully delicious food but the very excellent staff. We are planning a return trip soon!

Great service, even though the AC was off. Our party of 6 was treated to a dish of gelato for one inconvenience!

So... made a reservation for six people at 5:30pm. We were all on time. Gabby was our waitress, she was lovely and very attentive; after that it was all down hill. We ordered appetizers and pizzas. Received the appetizers, they were delicious and sharable. Never received the pizzas. We were given updates as to the pizzas arrival. And our waitress explained that their was a challenge with staffing in the kitchen... OK, no problem. HOWEVER....... we watched 5 to-go orders leave the restaurant, including the last one of three pizzas given to a man at 7;00pm. At that point we canceled our orders, settled our bill and left. I simply don't understand how and why something like this happens, The restaurant was not that busy and I thought the dining patrons would certainly take precedent over to go orders. BEWARE. This place is off our list.

We are regular diners here but yesterday the service and experience wasn’t up to the normal great levels. I’m sure it was because they were so very busy but our evening wasn’t as expected. We were almost done eating by the time my husband even got his meal and our two small granddaughters were also the last to get their pasta. Food was good but when we first ordered we were told that the Sicilian pizza wasn’t available but when we got up to leave saw two tables with it. This experience won’t stop us from dining here again but needless to say we were disappointed on Fathers Day.

The food was very good. It is a bit expensive but you're paying for quality. The seating of customers is very unorganized and confusing, and should be addressed.

Mother’s Day wasn’t that great. Took my family for Mother’s Day, was crammed in a 4 top with a party of 5 even though there were other tables about to leave and be turned over. Our order was “missed” by the kitchen and the whole restaurant got their meals before we did. I tried to diplomatically express my upset and the waiter apologized and gave us free gelato. Overall, it was a disappointing episode.
