Mercer Roof Terrace, located on the 7th floor of Vintry & Mercer, takes in the sweep of London’s skyline, from the dome of St Paul’s Cathedral to the glass tip of The Shard.

Outside, guests can enjoy an al fresco dining experience above the city lights in a partially covered settings with comfy blankets and overhead heating perfect for chilly evenings.

Inside, the atmosphere is warm and convivial, with floor-to-ceiling glass doors opening wide to the night’s sky.

You can enjoy a menu that celebrates the best of modern English cooking, showcasing farm-to-table meat, fish and seasonal vegetables cooked using our charcoal oven and our house infused craft cocktails displayed in colourful glass carafes on the bar.

Our Crown Afternoon Tea is a truly majestic gastronomic experience, and a twist on what has long been considered a great British institution. Join us to raise a glass to the Royals. Each beautifully presented serving comes bedecked with the finest sweet and savory treats. Enjoy with a glass of Charles Heidsieck Brut NV or Rose Champagne, or Wild Idol alcohol free sparkling rose, and our selection of teas. Lovely staff. Good food and the weather allowed us to sit outside on the terrace. Not much time between each course - our main arrived literally mins after our starter plates were taken away. Suggest if you’d prefer a decent gap, you ask when they take your order

Fabulous evening helped by the weather and surroundings. The monkfish was absolutely excellent.

Lovely roof terrace with heaters and blankets. Comfortable seats and attentive service. However, food was mixed. Crab cakes mostly potato and lacked flavour. Also cooked in a tempura so had a sweet flavour which didn’t work. Mushy peas too sweet. Fried fish was bland. Don’t think chips were actually triple cooked. On a positive burrata and artichoke were nice and chicken dish tasty.

The setting of this restaurant on a sunny day outside was just prefect. The food was very good with reasonable vegetarian options. The waiter didn't really listen, so got our drinks order wrong and the red wine was cold, as they store it at 7 degrees! Would go again but in the knowledge of the above

What a lovely restaurant- we had a wonderful birthday meal for our daughter with the family. The food was delicious- every dish perfectly cooked. The staff were absolutely brilliant, they were so good, attentive in just the right measures and absolutely charming. If you’re ever around St Paul’s seek this place out - the views are amazing. Highly recommended

Service was great , however food was poor for the price . Two of the cocktails were poorly made one had coconut milk but they added lime and it curdled . For the price of the cocktails should be amazing
