Mercer Roof Terrace, located on the 7th floor of Vintry & Mercer, takes in the sweep of London’s skyline, from the dome of St Paul’s Cathedral to the glass tip of The Shard.

Outside, guests can enjoy an al fresco dining experience above the city lights in a partially covered settings with comfy blankets and overhead heating perfect for chilly evenings.

Inside, the atmosphere is warm and convivial, with floor-to-ceiling glass doors opening wide to the night’s sky.

You can enjoy a menu that celebrates the best of modern English cooking, showcasing farm-to-table meat, fish and seasonal vegetables cooked using our charcoal oven and our house infused craft cocktails displayed in colourful glass carafes on the bar.

Our Crown Afternoon Tea is a truly majestic gastronomic experience, and a twist on what has long been considered a great British institution. Join us to raise a glass to the Royals. Each beautifully presented serving comes bedecked with the finest sweet and savory treats. Enjoy with a glass of Charles Heidsieck Brut NV or Rose Champagne, or Wild Idol alcohol free sparkling rose, and our selection of teas. We also have a Prince & Princess option, perfect for children, as well as some equally tempting vegetarian alternatives.

Really friendly welcome and staff generally, but slow service. Average cocktails and wine, expensive food for what it was. Think you pay more for the venue/terrace more, which is lovely.

As sitting outside a bird dropped just next to our table and it splashed onto our table and next doors table. Ok it happens but when it started raining we had to run inside as they couldn't get the cover to work over our table. Can only say good we had finished eating at this stage!
