Mercer Roof Terrace, located on the 7th floor of Vintry & Mercer, takes in the sweep of London’s skyline, from the dome of St Paul’s Cathedral to the glass tip of The Shard.

Outside, guests can enjoy an al fresco dining experience above the city lights in a partially covered settings with comfy blankets and overhead heating perfect for chilly evenings.

Inside, the atmosphere is warm and convivial, with floor-to-ceiling glass doors opening wide to the night’s sky.

You can enjoy a menu that celebrates the best of modern English cooking, showcasing farm-to-table meat, fish and seasonal vegetables cooked using our charcoal oven and our house infused craft cocktails displayed in colourful glass carafes on the bar.

What a little gem. Amazing place on a rooftop. It flagged up on my phone and took the plunge and booked due to a festival food deal. What an amazing meal. Throughly enjoyed everything including the ambience and staff. A perfect evening. Food was top class and the atmosphere amazing. Sun was shining and the staff are so friendly! Full of smiles and helpful. Shame I didn’t have company!! :) well done. A place I will be visiting again with work colleagues!!

Great view, sun-trap, and generally nice atmosphere. Service was lovely. Menu- was still serving a 'Spring Menu' and it was just a bit pedestrian - very over-salted, and lacking flavors of the season. Wine selection could be extended (only 2 Rose wines starting at £50) and generally there are much better culinary choices nearby. But for perhaps a cocktail on the weekend, it certainly is a lovely summery venue. Again, nice welcoming service.

We had the London summer festival menu which made this good value for money (£42.50 for three courses.) Food and service were good and it was a nice summer evening so we sat outside on the rooftop, which was lovely. However, for the full price I don't think it is good value for money.

We went and tried the restaurant festival menu, which offers a small choice but is good value. The staff were friendly and attentive, we had a lovely few hours on the rooftop eating, drinking and enjoying ourselves.

Lovely spot but was only informed restaurant shut at 4.00pm when I rang the day before to confirm the booking and check they were aware it was a celebratory lunch for my daughter's 21st birthday. We had booked a late lunch, so it felt rushed unfortunately which for the cost made it a very expensive pit stop!

The place is lovely and well kept and cozy. Outside area with all the props for windy days (so everyday). Menu was quite short of choices although there was some variety I couldn’t find something that I really wanted to eat. Better check beforehand. I booked for my sister’s birthday, just the 2 of us. After one hour we were asked to wrap it up as they were busy and needed the table. My booking should be for 2 hours so I enquire with the lady to make sure. So, she didn’t check that we were the booked table and thought we just walked in, she apologised but still, she should have checked prior to request we surrender the table.

Poor food - chicken wasn’t roasted or was long sat cooked. Fish was oily battered. Sauce for chicken also oily. Left bad taste in mouth literally. Service to table was exemplary although front of house was slap dash. Menus chucked on chair as table dirty and never returned once cursory wipe down completed. Floor still littered with crumbs from prior diner. All forgiven if food wasn’t so below par.

Food was very good, no loud music so we were able to chat. Service good but the lovely young lady was a bit too attentive which was slightly irritating. Will come back!
