Mercer Roof Terrace, located on the 7th floor of Vintry & Mercer, takes in the sweep of London’s skyline, from the dome of St Paul’s Cathedral to the glass tip of The Shard.

Outside, guests can enjoy an al fresco dining experience above the city lights in a partially covered settings with comfy blankets and overhead heating perfect for chilly evenings.

Inside, the atmosphere is warm and convivial, with floor-to-ceiling glass doors opening wide to the night’s sky.

You can enjoy a menu that celebrates the best of modern English cooking, showcasing farm-to-table meat, fish and seasonal vegetables cooked using our charcoal oven and our house infused craft cocktails displayed in colourful glass carafes on the bar.

Our Crown Afternoon Tea is a truly majestic gastronomic experience, and a twist on what has long been considered a great British institution. Join us to raise a glass to the Royals. Each beautifully presented serving comes bedecked with the finest sweet and savory treats. Enjoy with a glass of Charles Heidsieck Brut NV or Rose Champagne, or Wild Idol alcohol free sparkling rose, and our selection of teas. We also have a Prince & Princess option, perfect for children, as well as some equally tempting vegetarian alternatives.

Beautiful venue hidden away with amazing views. Consistently excellent service and food. Slightly overpriced wine list but to be expected. Great place to linger over good conversation as you can actually hear one another rather than being deafened by too loud music!

A lovely restaurant with amazing views over London and heated outdoor terrace service was very good but found the food slightly overpriced would go back for a special occasion

Great roof top after a visit to St. Paul’s. I did think we could see a bit more of the river but we had just come from the views of St. Paul’s so this was lovely. The high tea was lovely and perfect and everyone was so nice! Also the bathrooms are adorable and clean and cute.

Absolutely perfect place to celebrate my Mother’s 87th birthday - the setting, comfortable surroundings, gentle immediate attention on arrival, the most fantastic server, Mauricio, who had such an effortless way with his service; huge thanks to him for making the afternoon such a treat. Then lastly, the food: beautiful, timely and delicious; decent portions too. The facilities were clean and in good repair, with gorgeously scented toiletries; loved that they were gender neutral too. Very relaxing and highly enjoyable afternoon. Can’t wait to go back!

We enjoyed Sunday lunch at the restaurant. Warm and attentive service, a well-curated menu with meat and vegetarian options, and a decent choice of non-alcohol drinks. The music from the playlist provided a relaxing Sunday afternoon vibe.
