Welcome to Mercato West. Join us at our West Springs location for an authentic Italian experience. Enjoy our open kitchen concept restaurant where we offer a wide array of traditional dishes and a bustling dining atmosphere!!

We have two restaurants built into one;
Mercato West Restaurant which provides the family style, traditional Italian dining experience with both table and kitchen counter seating.
As well as Pizzevino, which is a pizza and wine bar (with of course many other options to choose from) There are NO RESERVATIONS for the Pizzevino.

Overall a great place to dine. My favourite celebration place in the city. Steak was cooked and seasoned perfectly. Best ending - Tiramisu!! It’s a meal by itself. Service was top notch. Never had a bad experience in our many visits over the past 10 years!!!!

What a lovely experience at Mercato West! Definitely easier to get to than the Mission location, but the same service and quality is present. Would definitely return to try the pasta range.

My goodness, has the quality of the food ever fallen at what used to be one of our favorite restaurants! Our family split the steak, which we used to love and a good chunk of it was unedible fat. Most of the dishes we got were extremely salty, and the capese salad, which used to be our absolute favorite was wilted, overdressed and overall mediocre. With all of the new choices in Calgary, I highly recommend foregoing mercato until things get "fixed".

Good experience, as expected. Busy night, getting close to Christmas. Lots of get togethers. We were seated at the bar. Restaurant was very noisy. Hard to hear our conversation. Food was decent. Arancini could have been paired with more tomato sauce. Tasted dry and bland. Could have been better value, overall. Second thoughts on making it a go-to.

I’m Italian and feel the Food was good not great. The pasta sauce could use more flavor. Food was also overpriced for what you get. The seating is a bit uncomfortable, needs to have a fancier ambience for the prices they set there in my opinion.

Second time here in the last month or so. Service was fantastic as well as the food. Brought my in-laws here who are super picky and they raved about it.

We gathered as a party of 5 to toast my son's recent birthday. The food was exceptional, with the gnocchi pasta and tagliatelli enjoyed by all. The Arrosot Misto (meat platter) was fantastic, with the steak done "just right". On the negatives, the restaurant is quite loud, this is just the design of the place likely, so great if you are not looking for a quiet outing. The food is of high quality, but will set you back a few dollars, fair warning, but worth it for a special occasion.

Always consistent both food and the excellent service. Feel taken care of, from time you walk in the door. Great place. Please consider getting a 0% white wine or Prosecco to offer. I love the 00 aporol spritz. Can’t wait to come back.
