   We had a great dinner on a quiet Thursday night. Our server (wish I remembered her name) was lovely; friendly and prompt. We started with the eggplant stackarini to share and it was sooooo tasty. I had the special pasta offering of the night, the spicy sausage orecchiette, and my friend had the braised short rib ravioli. Both were stellar. We finished with their in-house cannoli which was the perfect end to a all-around great meal. And who can beat BYOB?! Will be happy to return soon!

   This was our first time at this restaurant and let me tell you it didn't disappoint! For our appetizers we tried the mixed olives & peppers and the charcutier board, portions were just right to share between two couples and very tasty. For our main course three of us had the braised short rib ravioli and the fourth had the spicy cavatelli special. I didn't try the cavatelli, but the braised short ribs were excellent! Dessert was the home-made cannoli which was one of the best I ever had and the tiramisu. The tiramisu was very good but would recommend cannoli over the tiramisu. The restaurant is very small maybe a dozen table so you get to interact with the adjoining tables if you want and the noise level was pretty high, not enough that you could not hear across the table. Big bonus for this restaurant is it is a BYOB which always is a nice bonus.

   Trout was good but the rest very mediocre food: disappointing sauce for mussels and pretty much tasteless veal.

   Always an amazing experience at Mercato!! Trout special, braised short rib ravioli, chicken Parmesan were all delicious.

   The food was amazing and the staff was incredibly nice. Very accommodating and friendly. Will definitely be going again soon.
