The food is reliably good, typically too salty (sometime I needed to send it back) and the restaurant vibrantly but at times too noisy due to hard surfaces. The deserts are to die for, especially the carrot cake and the tiramisu.

Always a special dinner experience at Mercato in Mission. The staff, chef are excellent. The menu offers a variety of exceptional items. Delicious and hearty servings, with superb tastes of everything.

Always consistent. Food was good but never exceptional. Service was good but not unreal. Value these days is just not there. It’s way too expensive to eat up but understandably so. I honestly don’t believe in the super high expectations for tip percentage's these days….. it’s just getting out of hand in my personal opinion.

Dinner was sublime…the gnocchi was amazing (light fluffy not chewy) in a fab fennel sausage sauce (and I don’t like fennel). The lamb was spiced and cooked perfectly- super delicious! We topped it off with the creamy non-baked cheesecake. Our server was super professional and knowledgeable! A definite 5 star rating!

Mercato never disappoints! We have always enjoyed fabulous dinners there and received excellent service. It’s one of our favourite “go to” restaurants in Calgary.
