Mercato Italian Kitchen and Bar, located at 690 Main Street South is open daily at 11:30 a.m.

The restaurant is open for lunch and dinner and features a wide array of pasta, pizzas, salads, and specialty meals.

Mercato Italian Kitchen & Bar is the latest concept and restaurant for Market Hospitality Group (MHG). The interior of the restaurant is comprised of iron and custom glass, reclaimed barn wood and inviting booths to complete the industrial yet rustic feel. Enjoy fresh made individual pizzas cooked in our beautiful twin wood-burning ovens!

Service was a bit slow in the beginning. The order of calamari was a very small portion. Overall the pizzas and salmon , eggplant appetizer were very good.

It was a magnificent day so we sat outside. The food was great, the service wonderful and we never felt rushed. Everyone enjoyed their meals and said that they would be returning !

The food was excellent, but they were definitely unprepared for the Mother’s Day crowd. Gluten free bread was never brought out as offered, our second round of drinks was never brought out after ordering, yet was on the bill. Waitress was pleasant but barely checked in. Understaffed for the crowd they had

The hostess was not friendly. Our waiter Doug took awhile before he became friendly. Food was great as usual. Although the appetizer of Brussels sprouts that I’ve had before was lacking in the balsamic “sauce”.

Mercatto is a great place to grab a casual meal and spend time chatting with friends or colleagues. Drinks are okay, apps are very good, and the meals are tasty and a nice sized portion. Menu is diverse, but a bit limited, but it’s better to do a few things very good than a lot with mediocrity. It’s a casual atmosphere, it can be a bit loud, probably not a good choice for a romantic meal.

The food is amazing. The waiter addressed my food allergies and was able to confirm everything before ordering my meal. Our birthday spot!!!

Fantastic service. Loved the quieter room in back. Found was very good; chicken was a bit too spicy. Dessert was delicious!
