Mercato Italian Kitchen and Bar, located at 690 Main Street South is open daily at 11:30 a.m.

The restaurant is open for lunch and dinner and features a wide array of pasta, pizzas, salads, and specialty meals.

Mercato Italian Kitchen & Bar is the latest concept and restaurant for Market Hospitality Group (MHG). The interior of the restaurant is comprised of iron and custom glass, reclaimed barn wood and inviting booths to complete the industrial yet rustic feel. Enjoy fresh made individual pizzas cooked in our beautiful twin wood-burning ovens!

Chicken Parmigiana had much smaller portions last month there were 2 chicken breasts served for the same price as the skimpy one smaller chicken breast at this visit. In addition the pasta serving was minimized.

Great appetizers; wood fired fillet tips(wish there was more than 4), fried calamari, and truffle fries! I ordered the wood fired salmon and it was delicious. The flavor of the risotto went very well with the salmon. Desserts were very good too! I will definitely come back and try other items on the menu.

It was the perfect summer evening to dine on the patio and enjoy great food and drinks. The Manhattan was one of the best I’ve ever had and on Sundays and Mondays you can purchase a bottle of wine for half off! The food was fabulous with so many choices from the diverse menu.

Service was a bit slow in the beginning. The order of calamari was a very small portion. Overall the pizzas and salmon , eggplant appetizer were very good.

It was a magnificent day so we sat outside. The food was great, the service wonderful and we never felt rushed. Everyone enjoyed their meals and said that they would be returning !

The food was excellent, but they were definitely unprepared for the Mother’s Day crowd. Gluten free bread was never brought out as offered, our second round of drinks was never brought out after ordering, yet was on the bill. Waitress was pleasant but barely checked in. Understaffed for the crowd they had

The hostess was not friendly. Our waiter Doug took awhile before he became friendly. Food was great as usual. Although the appetizer of Brussels sprouts that I’ve had before was lacking in the balsamic “sauce”.
