Le Mercat a La Planxa vous propose une extraordinaire sélection de tapas à base de charcuterie et de fromages à la coupe, de fruits de mer frais, de steaks et de côtelettes, toutes inspirées de la gastronomie catalane en Espagne. Le menu impressionnant met l'accent sur des viandes et fruits de mer servis « à la plancha » ou grillés sur commande. Le bar sert une gamme alléchante de boissons de saison, notamment de sangrias et de cocktails de style espagnol. Par ailleurs, il propose une sélection de cavas d'Espagne ainsi qu'une quarantaine de grands crus espagnols disponibles au verre ou à la bouteille. Le restaurant possède deux salles privées à l'étage, La Veranda et la Barcelona Room. En outre, le salon situé au rez-de-chaussée peut également être réservé pour des réceptions privées.

This might be the best place in Chicago for Tapas. Plus the Bulding and ambient is so classic. Highlights recommend it for a date or a good place to catch up with a good all friend

We had a party of 6 eating at the Mercat a la Planxa last night and it was fantastic! Our waiter Samuel was outstanding and took such good care of us. He took special care to make sure we were able to make it to our show on time. Thank you so much! Food was terrific- especially the dates, croquettes and lamb chops. Would definitely recommend and will eat there again when we are back in town.

It was quite busy for early dinner on Friday. It seemed like they were understaffed so we did get service compatible to the value of the check.

Good experience for our work team of 6 guests. though a few tapas that we had ordered including a side and the steak were forgotten so we had to package them up to go home as we were done eating by the time they arrive.

This was our first time to Mercat a la planxa and it was a joy. Missy was our server and gave great recommendations to us. The Verde salad was really good. We had the Gambas and white beans, and Churros for dessert. Don't miss the churros! It was quiet and we could hear each other easily. We give a high recommendation.
