We enjoyed the food and friendly service. There was a noisy table near us but otherwise we had a lovely dinner.

Meraki Taverna is an exceptional restaurant! I have only eaten there about five times, and each time I am so please with excellent food and service.

Busy evening, with all tables full, loud place when it’s full and then there’s music in the background. Food fresh, wide variety of appetizers, salad, mains and specials. Staff pleasant, professional and accommodating. For my taste the food could have used more salt, more acid, citrus but it was our first time eating there and I’m sure they would adjust to a request. We are going back. Thank you

My boyfriend and I go to Meraki Taverna very often for date nights. The food is absolutely incredible, the staff are lovely and attentive, the entire experience is wonderful. That is why we continue to come back every month for the past 1 year+! My boyfriend is Greek and their food is truly authentic Greek cuisine. We just cannot get enough! We will be back soon!

This is our 5th visit to Meraku over the past 2+ years. Having lived in Greece the past 6 months, it was interesting to compare on my return to the U.S. the seafood tavernas we went to all over Athens, Kalamata and 8 islands. I’m happy to say the freshness and preparation of Merakis matched up! We were a party of 3, and ordered the trio of standard dips, which comes with hot, freshly-made pitas and a bowl of Kalamata olives. We also got fried calamari, which was properly fried and melted in your mouth. Entrees were a seafood grilled trio, also expertly cooked, and moussaka, which was as near to my Greek mother-in-laws’ excellent rendition as could be. For wine, just order the Assyrtiko, the best white wine from Santorini. It pairs perfectly with the seafood, and can stand against a very good French wine. The restaurant took away its outdoor tent, so for the first time we had to dine inside. They’re expanding, and I hope it gets a better interior. But, we’ll be back!!

Nice place, service is very nice, but falls a bit short in the food department. Lamb dish had the meat chopped, bones and all, lots of fat, such that separating the edible from the discard turns into a job. Sardine appy is is large fish, grilled again with bones and all. Lots of pulling bones out of the mouth. Food also tends to be on the high calorific side.
