Staff was accommodating and went out of their way to make room for my party. From the time we walked in to the second we walked out we were treated like gold! The staff made my birthday celebration better than I expected..The steak Diane and Bananas foster is a definite must have! My friends and I will definitely be back.

A wonderful Palm Springs dining experience. The cocktails and food were absolutely delicious. The Oysters on the half shell, Caesar Salad, Filet, Ribeye, Foraged Mushrooms, and Garlic Mashed Potatoes were perfect and of course we had to the both the Cherries Jubilee and the Bananas Foster! Already planning our next visit!

At the risk of reservations here being even more difficult to obtain during "The Season" than they already are, I write this review: Melvyns has it all: incredibly charming, gorgeously historic property; classy "old school" maitre d' and waiters; the sexiest interior imaginable featuring glowing black walls, chandeliers and collectible art, and food that can thrill any food snob out there (yes, that would be me).

Fabulous time. Shelly our server was fantastic. You are treated like royalty from the time you enter. We had a Cesar Salad, Steak Diane, a Cherries Jubilee. Two items were prepared at tableside. It made for a wonderful evening and celebration dinner.

Absolutely perfect evening! We went to Melvyn’s to celebrate a special occasion and it was even more special than we could have imagined! The food, service, and atmosphere were perfect. We had the Steak Diane, Cherries Jubilee, Banana Foster, Wedge Salad, and more. There’s something incredibly special about this restaurant. There’s pride, elegance, passion for perfect service and food, and a moment in time where you feel like you’ve gone back to a glamorous era. We highly recommend.

Going to Melvyn’s was great for our one year anniversary. They made it special and it was a beautiful experience. The steak Diane was wonderful and my Branzino was cooked to perfection. They also brought out a special anniversary cake for us. I would highly recommend them for the experience, as they cooked and completed the prep of the steak Diane & Bananas Foster at our table.

Excellent brunch. From the moment we arrived, the staff was friendly, courteous, and helpful. My lox Benedict was excellent, a little lighter and more refines than one normally gets elsewhere. My husband thoroughly enjoyed his French toast, too. Our server Shelley was delightful. Will return.

Loved the old world ambience! Nice selection of cocktails, limited wine list, but good offerings. Food was delicious, and service was great!
