We came in at 5:30 for a 7:30 curtain and had to skip dessert because we ran out of time. I am a long time Melting Pot patron so I was not expecting a quick meal, but the wait for our appetizers was about 30 minutes (and 20 mins into the wait we were told 1 of the 3 apps we ordered, the potstickers, wasn’t available; we didn’t make a replacement pick). We all ordered fondue for dinner and on person’s was cold. The food still tasted great but when your restaurant is a block from the theater you have to be conscious that people are watching the clock. This was our second visit. Our first visit 3-4 months ago had the same problem. I’m disappointed they haven’t figured out how to speed up the kitchen.

We went here before a show at the Straz because it is close and it was rainy. We've been here before and the food is good as well as the drinks. It was happy hour until 7pm so we sat in the high top tables to get the happy hour special instead of using our reservation. I honestly thinkbthe drinks are better than the food!

We had a great large group experience at MeltSo. There were 16 of us and Vince and the crew made it possible for us to split up into two booths to make it easier to socialize. Everyone was very friendly and accommodating. Santy provided great and quick service so we could make it to the Straz in time for our show. Food was tasty (burger was ok, fries were crisp) - but the standout was definitely the s’mores fondue!

Love the atmosphere, food was ok. Did not have fondue, that might have been better since that is their specialty.

I always have enjoy eating here before a show at the Straz. The food is great… service is great. Nothing not to like!

Started with fondue cheese appetizer, came with cold pretzels (like the microwave kind) and cold potatoes, and an assortment of other things. No sticks to dip and overall not good quality. Entrees were better but service was not attentive, sat with a steak and no knife for 5 minutes while food got cold. Overall won’t be back, and not recommended even though it is so close to the Straz.
