The name Melina is rooted in Greek origin and derives from the Greek word for "honey". "Mel" can be derived from the name Melissa meaning "honey-bee". The restaurant is named after the daughter of Co-Founder Chef Dimitri Moshovitis. “Melina” will honor the strength of the matriarchy in the Greek family. It will lean vegetable-forward with modernized Greek classics from the sea and grilled meats. Greek cuisine is all about freshness and quality of ingredients and that will be on display in a fine casual setting.

    The waitstaff was outstanding in explanation of the menu options, attentiveness and in anticipating our requests. The menu offered a range of fun and different options. Will definitely use them for special occasions.

    Disappointing for a Jose Andres restaurant. The octopus was great. The rest of the food was - eh. Mushroom flatbread was heavy bread with little flavor. The cheese pie was better. The lamb kebab was all salt.

    This was the third time we have visited this restaurant, and the food and service were great - a very innovative take on classic Greek cuisine made with the finest ingredients. It is rather expensive, but well worth it.

    Incredible experience and fantastic service. The food was amazing and the short rib is a must-get. Roasted Carrots, Crispy Potatoes, Spinach Salad were all stand out too. Restaurant had great vibes and is perfect for a group meal. Will absolutely be returning and dreaming of the short rib until we're back.

    The food was very very good. Fresh ingredients and a lot of good flavors. Very beautiful decorated restaurant, the only thing you can say , it is a little noisy. Will come back

    Enjoyable lunch with excellent wait staff. I had the lamb burger which was good (although a bit too laden with sauce which overpowered the lamb)and my colleague had a salad. We also enjoyed a cocktail.
