The name Melina is rooted in Greek origin and derives from the Greek word for "honey". "Mel" can be derived from the name Melissa meaning "honey-bee". The restaurant is named after the daughter of Co-Founder Chef Dimitri Moshovitis. “Melina” will honor the strength of the matriarchy in the Greek family. It will lean vegetable-forward with modernized Greek classics from the sea and grilled meats. Greek cuisine is all about freshness and quality of ingredients and that will be on display in a fine casual setting.

We had a wonderful dinner once again at Melina. Three of us shared 4 dishes from the mezze menu, which made a perfect dinner. One of the entrees, the crab and corn pasta was so good, we ordered another one to take home. The service was attentive, and the server was knowledgeable and personable. The hand wipes brought to life at the end of the meal by a seemingly magical stream of steam poured over them was a perfect ending to the meal. The only complaint is how noisy the restaurant gets. We didn't have to speak with raised voices, but it was hard to hear sometimes, and the noise level takes away from the relaxation.

We have been going to Melina since it opened for both lunch and dinner. Love the restaurant!

Excellent experience. Good food, and very friendly service and excellent hospitality. Would love to be there at our next visit in the area.

Melina is a hidden gem in a shopping center. The food is amazing!! I have never had a better halibut dish. Absolutely delicious. I also recommend the eggplant dish.

The food is very good. However, this may be the loudest restaurant I have to in many years. The noise hits you as you walk in the door. They might want to consider installing sound absorption tiles. The din detracted from an otherwise positive experience.

Melina is a family favorite, and it didn't disappoint at brunch today, except for one thing: the noise level, which made it hard to hear my diningcompanion. Also, the banquette seats are deep, and a bit far from the table, so there is inadequate back support while eating. But, the crab shakshuka and the shrimp open-face pita were excellent, as was the service.

Nice upscale Greek restaurant. We had early dinner and enjoyed the food and the great service. Music was a little loud but not too bad. We’ll be back.

Another delightful dining experience at Melina. As always cocktails & food were superb. The bartenders make a next level martini. The entire staff from the host/hostess, bartenders, and wait staff are so welcoming & friendly. They are all very customer focused & all seem to enjoy their work. Melina always ensures a great dining experience. Thank you.
