The name Melina is rooted in Greek origin and derives from the Greek word for "honey". "Mel" can be derived from the name Melissa meaning "honey-bee". The restaurant is named after the daughter of Co-Founder Chef Dimitri Moshovitis. “Melina” will honor the strength of the matriarchy in the Greek family. It will lean vegetable-forward with modernized Greek classics from the sea and grilled meats. Greek cuisine is all about freshness and quality of ingredients and that will be on display in a fine casual setting.

We sat outside and it was delightful outside. The food was terrific we had the halibut and grilled octopus the bread of the day. So yum. Our waiter was terrific.

Terrific food, great service. Tuna crudo and grilled octopus both outstanding appetizers. Excellent roasted cod with almond paste sauce, and the slow roasted lamb neck was the best lamb I've had in a long time. Creative menu, superbly realized and beautifully presented. Will definitely be back.

Great place! A really good variety of food and drinks. A lot of vegetarian options. The cocktails are totally unique in flavors and delicious. The service is professional and super friendly.

Meza were nice way to share tastes. Generally good, but not great. Braised short rib was good. Bread for $15 was not worth it. Wines were sub-standard. Cocktails were unusual but not especially good. Very nice service. Room is way too loud - hard to talk.

The noise level was not "ENERGETIC". It was horrible. Could barely hold conversation with my dining partner. Her experience as well. For that reason we will not return. The service was EXCELLENT. The food was very good. But the noise level destroyed our experience.

The taste of dishes across the board from appetizers to desserts were disappointing and bland. Expected more based on ambience and prices. I’m talking on behalf of 5 of us.

A friend and I dined at Melina's for dinner at my recommendation. The food presentation was good, the combination of flavors in the blue crab dish and accompanying the grilled octopus were a good idea gone bad. Our server had limited knowledge of the menu and seemed annoyed in general. Fortunately, another server brought our drinks and could answer questions about the menu.
