This reservation is for large parties between 8-11 guests. With this reservation you are required to pay a $100.00 deposit to secure your table and that will be credited towards the final bill. This reservation is for large parties that do not wish to participate in the Large Party Prefix and instead order A la Carte. The party will be responsible to reach a minimum of $65.00 per person before taxes and gratuity. Cancelations must be done 24 hours prior to reservation. Failure to cancel within this time limit will result in forfeiting the deposit.

If you’re considering brunch at Mei Mei in Philadelphia, you may want to rethink it. Our experience was one disappointment after another, starting with painfully slow service. Basic menu items like fresh berries were “out of stock”—at least, that’s what we were told for both the French toast entree and a side of berries. Yet, we continuously saw plates coming out with berries, making it seem like they simply didn’t want to serve us what was listed on the menu. Adding to the frustration, when we asked for a side of ranch (which the server initially suggested was available), we later found out they didn’t have any. Despite all of these issues, our check still included the “out of stock” berries, an automatic 20% service charge, and a 3% convenience fee. This service model seemed to drain any motivation from the staff, who appeared indifferent. We came for the drag show, only to be seated in one of the worst spots—right in the restaurant’s entryway. Our request for a better table was denied. Overall, it was an underwhelming experience that left us disappointed and unlikely to return.

While the food and ambience was nice and met my expectations, I was disappointed in the service. Our server was Lori (I think that was her name). Once the food was served, we requested for accompaniments such as hot sauce, which made it to our table after we had finished eating. While booking the reservation, I had mentioned that the occasion was birthday and I also mentioned to our server after we arrived there. There was no birthday celebration for our table. I was surprised and disappointed because while we were there, birthday celebrations happened at 3 other tables by the Mei Mei team. We were singled out for reasons unknown to me. Very disappointed.

Went here for my sister’s birthday. She had an amazing time there . The waiter was so nice and attentive. She gave great suggestions and everything she said was TRUE . We will be back

The vibe and atmosphere at Mei Mei is so fun! The place is very esthetically pleasing and the music is great! The food is ok but the presentation is great. My only complaint really is service is super slow. Our waitress was great and very friendly.

I really enjoyed my Birthday dinner .the ambiance was amazing the food was delicious, I had the Red Snapper it was huge and very good. My niece had the Salmon she said it was delicious. My niece had the General Tso she enjoyed it and it was good I did have a taste. My brother and best friend had the seafood fried rice and they enjoyed it . The staff was wonderful. Kim was our hostess she was great she sung Happy Birthday to me with my family that was awesome. Overall everything was good but I didn’t care for my drink .

Great food and overall good experience, but the restaurant was out of items and I found that frustrating - no beer, a couple of menu items that we were interested in - where ordering was not just about hoping the item would be good, but that it would be available. Not enough to keep me from going back, because the food was good.
