Nestled in the heart of downtown Asheville, decorated with carvings, and statues imported from India. Mëhfil brings you authentic Indian food in a beautifully relaxed atmosphere.
Come enjoy a casual meal with friends or a celebration with your loved ones. Either way, you'll be taken care of by our knowledgeable and friendly team. We take pride in what we serve and how we serve it - Good Food and Great Service. We also offer takeout, delivery, catering and in Jul 2023 we have added Mow, Mehfil on Wheels, a food truck serving Mehfil food. Mow is a regular at the local breweries and can even come in to your neighborhood. Our signature dishes include the lamb chops, goat curry, deluxe mixed grill-an assortment of lamb and chicken seekh kebab, tandoori shrimp and lamb chops. No one does the tandoor as good us and our awards are testimony to that.

Always lovely to visit our favorite Indian place in Asheville. This particular evening was simply perfect. Tandoori shrimp and chicken tikka masala were perfect.

Always amazing service, and such wonderful food. So many choices! We really love the lamb, any of the lamb curries. Sitting by the window in the front of the restaurant offers one an incredible people-watching experience!

Everything was impeccable— especially loved the chicken tikka: tender, slightly spicy and delicious. Potato & onion fried appetizer was also good, and the many varieties of chutney and pickles. Server was very attentive and I can’t think of anything to complain about! (Maybe a little high in price, but portions are huge, so it’s worth it)
