Good News.. We are walk-in only for dinner 7 days a week. INSIDER TIP: Dinner reservations after 9pm can be made here. You can make Brunch reservations here and you can also contact us a mail@mediumrarerestaurant.com for larger parties and private events. A Diner's Choice Award winner for the last 12 years! Legendary Medium Rare offers a unique, prix fixe dining experience of artisan bread; a mixed green salad; prime, dry-aged steak (with our secret sauce); and hand-cut fries (Vegetarian option always available) in a relaxed, fun, environment. Please allow us 15 minutes to seat you after your full party has arrived and after checkin at our host stand. As we do only one thing, we do our best to make the food and experience exceptional and also a good value. We also serve brunch on Saturday and Sunday's with a great bottomless prix fixe including French Toast, Steak and Eggs, Eggs Benedict and Bloody Marys, Mimosas and Screwdrivers.

Very good, i just tought it was all you can eat. But it was good, very full at 8:30 tho.

We had a reservation for 8:15 pm and we were not seated until an hour later. This happened to many other parties as well. Poorly managed establishment. The steak sauce, however, was indeed delicious.

Food was great but a pretty annoying experience to say the least. We had a reservation and waited AN HOUR after our RESERVED time. We also came early and still waited an egregious amount of time. Many people in the front were upset and rightfully so considering almost the whole front of house had the same reservation at the same time. I would’ve thought for messing up this badly they would’ve given us some sort of better treatment or apologize but instead we got the cold shoulder and slightly rude front of house person. We got sat an hour after reservation time, but another group with the SAME RESERVATION sat around 15 minutes after us. The food was amazing, our server was amazing, do not skip the chocolate cake, but they NEED TO IMPROVE THEIR ORGANIZATION, RESERVATION, and most of all need better patience. People have a right to be annoyed when they have a reservation and wait an hour after, so if you see people annoyed maybe a quick “I’m sorry for the wait” or even something along those lines would help.

We had high hopes, but the loud obnoxious crowd, dirty water glasses, and dirty bread plates really put us off, so we walked out before ordering anything. Very disappointing.

Only issue with Medium Rare is the long wait even with a reservation. Last night we waited 30+ minutes to be seated. They did bring over a drink for us after 25 minutes, but we had issues with them not holding a table for us, what's the point of a reservation. Good food and service otherwise!

Tasty food, excellent service, deafening noise. The greatest thing is the tape going in the bathroom. No spoilers. Go and see.

Great value for 35 dollars, you get 2 portions of the steak and fries (although the portion of steaks are pretty small, in total I would guess about 6-8 oz of steak). It was very slow on a Thursday at about 6pm compared to the Bethesda location which always seems to be popping. My one minor complaint is that we ordered the steak medium rare but both times it came out closer to medium and even medium well. Still good but a tad disappointed in that regard. Service was excellent.

Amazing food,welcoming staff,the atmosphere was what you would expect from a busy restaurant and the music choice was perfect for the vibe in there,would definitely recommend to anyone who loves steak and good drinks,and the older gentleman who served us was one of the nicest people we have come across while we have been in New York.
