Legendary Medium Rare offers a unique, $30.95 prix fixe dinning experience of artisan bread; a mixed green salad; prime, dry-aged steak; and hand-cut fries (Vegetarian option always available) in a relaxed, fun, environment. Please allow us 15 minutes to seat you after your full party has arrived and after checkin at our host stand. As we do only one thing, we do our best to make the food and experience exceptional and also a good value. We also serve brunch on Saturday and Sunday's with a great prix fixe including French Toast, Steak and Eggs, Eggs Benedict and bottomless Bloody Marys, Mimosas and Screwdrivers. Our 2nd time here, a 2 item menu, steak, or mushroom, including salad, bread, and french fry. Very nice, clean, friendly place. We ordered the steak, option, and our meal was great. Then we had a wonderful dessert. We’ll go back for special steak nights

Food was average, not the best we've ever experienced from this location, but certainly not awful. Service was lacking, although Management did try to make up for the obvious lack of experience from our server. What made the evening not enjoyable was the repeated screaming from the children at one table. This was not regular screaming either. This was the screaming and shenanigans of children who clearly are never disciplined in their own home. First off, why are we taking young children here to celebrate a birthday in the first place? But, secondly, when other diners actually choose to exit the restaurant to dine outdoors in the August heat of Louisiana, there is clearly a consensus that these children were unruly. It was not mindful and it was not demure!

I have to say that this place was a let down and overpriced . The best thing was the frites or thin cut fries. The meat was not great quality, very thin cut, but still very chewy. The sauce was thick and not so tasty. I’m not sure why the whole concept focuses around the bread, salad, fries and mediocre meat. I would say it’s on a par with Olive Garden to Italian food. If you like that , you might like this!
