Legendary Medium Rare offers a unique, prix fixe dinning experience of artisan bread; a mixed green salad; prime, dry-aged steak; and hand-cut fries (Vegetarian option always available) in a relaxed, fun, environment. Please allow us 15 minutes to seat you after your full party has arrived and after checkin at our host stand. As we do only one thing, we do our best to make the food and experience exceptional and also a good value. We also serve brunch on Saturday and Sunday's with a great prix fixe including French Toast, Steak and Eggs, Eggs Benedict and bottomless Bloody Marys, Mimosas and Screwdrivers. First time eating here. Steak was tender. Fries were delicious. Bread and salad very good. The carrot cake was excellent. Big slice plenty enough for two people. Casual, modern, clean atmosphere. Servers were very pleasant. Loved the concept….they serve one entree and they do it well. Will definitely eat there again.

Food and service always great at Medium Rare - would have given five stars but the music was loud - the bass in particular was practically thumping through my chest. We did request and it was turned down but hate to have to do that!

The sliced bread was a little tough, and I got a glimpse into the oven where they were warming up the bread and they had five or six loaves in there that stayed in there for the duration of our visit. I think they just overcooked. Otherwise, dinner was delicious on the first round. The server returned after a little while and was surprised that the second round of food hadn’t come out yet. On the second round, the fries were a little crisp like they sat in the window for a little bit. We settled on the chocolate cake for dessert and while it was a big serving, it wasn’t very heavy so it was easy for us to eat. Probably should’ve did the ice cream sundae as that seem to be a popular favorite of all the other tables around us. for the price you’re not going to get two servings of that tender of steak and fries and salad and bread anywhere else.

Be sure to check the Merriwether concert schedule before dining here. Overloaded on a Sunday night.

It was a Merri concert night so it was very busy. We were seated at the time of our reservation, but the server was slow to get to our table and was not overly attentive. The food was slow to come out & marginal at best, but the cocktails were good. It was so noisy that it was difficult to have a conversation. The server forgot to return our credit card. I don’t understand the hype and won’t go back.

I don’t the spelling, but our server whose name sounds like Ma-Rye-A was phenomenal. Only concern is that she needed to forewarn us how big the desserts were. None of us finished them. Future: go to the Charmery next door for dessert. There needs to be size options beyond Bazooka bubble gum if you want something less gargantuan for dessert!!

I’ve been to the DC location and was excited to see they expanded. Lots of windows, great ambiance, and the food was just as good as I remember! Getting seconds on steak and fries reminded me of cruise ship dining which was fun!

We went early on a Sunday evening so not very busy. Very simple menu but food was delicious, and the service was excellent. Reasonable prices for a nice night out.
