Legendary Medium Rare offers a unique, prix fixe dinning experience of artisan bread; a mixed green salad; prime, dry-aged steak; and hand-cut fries (Vegetarian option always available) in a relaxed, fun, environment. Please allow us 15 minutes to seat you after your full party has arrived and after checkin at our host stand. As we do only one thing, we do our best to make the food and experience exceptional and also a good value. We also serve brunch on Saturday and Sunday's with a great prix fixe including French Toast, Steak and Eggs, Eggs Benedict and bottomless Bloody Marys, Mimosas and Screwdrivers. Took a friend to Medium Rare for an early birthday celebration. The steak was cooked exactly as requested and was super tasty and tender. Medium Rare is the prime example of a restaurant that isn't trying to be everything for everyone but one which is focused on perfecting every item on their limited menu. The waitstaff were very attentive without being intrusively so. We will definitely be back!

I’m not entirely sure what to make of this restaurant. There is only one option on the menu, and we’re don’t drink alcohol, so ordering was easy. The steak and fries was really good, but was hoping for more steak than fries… when we finished, we were ready to order dessert, but the waiter came by and dumped more steak and fries on our plates before we could say anything. We didn’t even know that would happen because nobody explained how things worked. So it was good, not great, and a bit of a confusing experience, but overall the food was good and ambience was wonderful and a really great location

The brunch menu does not provide many options for food. The steak was flavorless, the French toast was VERY oily.

The restaurant ran out of steak. Afternoon delivery did not show up was the explanation.

Not really sure how to rate it. We planned to have dinner before a show at Merriweather. We were looking forward to the meail. Our waitress was GREAT. We arrived at 5:30, sat outside and it was a great location. The bread, salad, and drinks were great. Let me say again - the bread was awesome. But.. after waiting for about 30 minutes for our food, we began to wonder. Why would it be taking so long. They were not that busy, and it is a price fixe menu. Well - the manager came and said they ran out of steak. I thought 'how can that be - they is the only meat they serve.' We were told a delivery was on the way, and we could wait. We had places to be though. We settled up for the drinks and left to find food elsewhere. We did get a call later about coming back as the delivery of meat was made, but we already in the show. I will rate this as a one-off. All in all we were pleased with what we got - just a little let down by them running out of main courses at about 6:00 on a Friday.

Great experience, such great host, very energetic and enthusiastic. Made sure we were taken care of. Awesome experience.

We really love this restaurant. The food is great and the limited wine selection has some wonderful wines. We ate outside and this time the service was slow but the head manager more than made it up to us. Highly recommend this restaurant if you steak frites.

Food was good, service was good, ambience was good. But it was supposed to be a birthday celebration, was disappointed the restaurant did not acknowledge it, since it was mentioned in my reservation.
