Legendary Medium Rare offers a unique, prix fixe dinning experience of artisan bread; a mixed green salad; prime, dry-aged steak; and hand-cut fries (Vegetarian option always available) in a relaxed, fun, environment. Please allow us 15 minutes to seat you after your full party has arrived and after checkin at our host stand. As we do only one thing, we do our best to make the food and experience exceptional and also a good value. We also serve brunch on Saturday and Sunday's with a great prix fixe including French Toast, Steak and Eggs, Eggs Benedict and bottomless Bloody Marys, Mimosas and Screwdrivers. This used to be a good place but no more. The steak was not nearly as good a quality, the sauce was not good. The plates are now salad plate size not dinner size so the portions are much smaller. It was a busy Friday night so maybe that was to blame. I'm not in a hurry to return.

First timer here. Love the simple menu: bread & salad followed by the steak & fries. Steak was very good. It really did not need the sauce. Fries were fresh & crispy. We were able to finish our first round of servings and just barely finished the second. It filled our bellies with no room to try the desserts. Our waiter was great and very attentive throughout the experience. Will definitely go back.

Everything is consistent, the excellence of the food & service. Live that their is no decision on what to have & everything is delicious, the bread, sea salt sprinkle on the butter, the salad , the french fries ( so good, no need for ketchup) & the steak, fantastic. Then after all of that deliciousness, they come back & fill up your plate with more fries & STEAK. Just wonderful. Also they have the best multilayered carrot cake. Even if you are full, you have to have some. Share it with the table. It is big enough..

Great meal, great service, nice people. We always enjoy ourselves and the place feels like our own neighborhood haunt. Highly recommend for a nice, no frills dinner. Never disappoints.

We ate outside on a lovely evening, so there was a little traffic noise but it wasn't intrusive, and we didn't notice any bugs. The food was of course very simple, but because of that, everything is done well. The steak was done to the temperature we asked, and there was lots of delicious salad and tons of fries. We had previously only carried out, starting during the pandemic, so this was our first time actually eating in. At first we thought the servings were a little small, but as it turns out, they come around with seconds. What a great surprise! And a little pitcher of sauce, although now knowing that I might ask for that with the first round. The second round's temperature was slightly less (rare instead of medium rare), but that wasn't a problem for us. We were too full for dessert, but the table behind us ordered the layer cake, which had many many layers but the slice was cut thin enough to make sense. The apple pie was pretty normal, but the ice cream sundae was huge, and looked delicious! Even for being outside, our server was quite attentive and we never had to wait long for more water, etc. The only downside could be a problem finding parking. We were able to find (paid, but that's OK) parking on a side street, so it was fine. All in all, we highly, highly recommend Medium Rare. We'll go back and/or continue to carry out!

Great food, service, and environment! We had a reservation on Father’s Day and got seated almost right away. We requested to sit outside as we had a stroller and they were very accommodating. This is our second time at this restaurant and we’ll definitely be returning soon.

Our two previous experiences were great but last night was not good. Service was terrible. Took forever to get food which was not that great. Plus my wife who's vegetarian was not offered seconds. Son ordered steak medium and it was well done. Took way too long to get food.
