Medicine was born out of a discovery of abandoned space, of new possibilities and an inquisitive quality for creating something vital and diverse. An artisan bakery and kitchen, café and gallery, which is rooted in its heritage in both Birmingham and Wolverhampton, Medicine represents a new format of social space. It finds its niche through a carefully curated menu of ethical products, whilst offering a daily fix of cultural inspiration in an environment which promotes a debate about art and culture.     Lovely lunch, food is always exceptional and loveliest staff in Birmingham. Cakes are just amazing!

    A lovely venue. It felt like I was ignored on arrival at the hostess station as 2 members of staff were deep in conversation. I was acknowledged after a few minutes when they were walking away from me. We sat for ages waiting for someone to take our order, then had to flag someone down - it really wasn’t busy. Then we had to ask again for someone to take our order. Then another fifteen minutes for the drinks to arrive and in the end they came out with the food - around 30 minute after we arrived. I ordered the Vegan Medicine. It comes with avocado. I got what looked like guacamole, but buried underneath was half a hard avocado. I pointed it out to my server and she just looked blank and offered no solutions. Only my second visit there, not sure about going back a third time.

    Good food, value for money. Too noisy, not good for chatting. 1.5 hours limit, not suitable for long talk. Good vibe

    The environment is noisy. Due to the large number of customers, the staff had difficulty serving correctly. My table, as well as the tables to my left and right, received the wrong orders. Although they eventually corrected the mistakes and the bills were accurate, it was still confusing.

    Food was very good overall. I do think service is a bit lacking but I would still recommend as a brunch place

    Great ambience in a light, bright space. Hidden in plain sight and yet easily accessible from New Street Station. Great place for brunch/lunch with friends or family

    Wow what a brilliant place to eat. Fresh and flavoursome. Range of options all too difficult to choose from. Food was amazing. Staff were friendly, helpful and efficient. Will definitely go back. Oh and a visit at bakery at end took the experience home with us ☺️
