Medicine was born out of a discovery of abandoned space, of new possibilities and an inquisitive quality for creating something vital and diverse. An artisan bakery and kitchen, café and gallery, which is rooted in its heritage in both Birmingham and Wolverhampton, Medicine represents a new format of social space. It finds its niche through a carefully curated menu of ethical products, whilst offering a daily fix of cultural inspiration in an environment which promotes a debate about art and culture. It's a lovely space but I believe the food quality has dropped, flavours feel off, just doesn't feel up to previous standards

Our waiter could have smiled and been a little happier Did great the Rhuben sandwich was delicious but the fried chicken and vanilla brioche was a little bread heavy and not enough chicken but tasted great. Great coffee and blueberry lemonade

This is the third time I’ve been for breakfast , everything is consistently good. Delicious food and great service. I just wish they would use real butter or give it as an option. The variety of food isn’t exclusively vegan or vegetarian , meat is on the menu so, why not butter ?

Popped in for a late breakfast with my daughter. As always, the staff are very friendly, I think we got a cheerful Good morning from at least 6 members of staff. I ordered sourdough toast with poached eggs and this was delicious and the eggs were perfect. My daughter had yoghurt with fruit (cannot recall what it was called) and she loved it. It's always such a nice experience to visit Medicine. It was full on a late Saturday morning but the ambience was great. Looking forward to coming again soon.

A lovely venue. It felt like I was ignored on arrival at the hostess station as 2 members of staff were deep in conversation. I was acknowledged after a few minutes when they were walking away from me. We sat for ages waiting for someone to take our order, then had to flag someone down - it really wasn’t busy. Then we had to ask again for someone to take our order. Then another fifteen minutes for the drinks to arrive and in the end they came out with the food - around 30 minute after we arrived. I ordered the Vegan Medicine. It comes with avocado. I got what looked like guacamole, but buried underneath was half a hard avocado. I pointed it out to my server and she just looked blank and offered no solutions. Only my second visit there, not sure about going back a third time.

Good food, value for money. Too noisy, not good for chatting. 1.5 hours limit, not suitable for long talk. Good vibe
