    Food was delicious! I had French toast with streaky bacon & my daughter had smashed avocado & halloumi on toast, we both devoured it! Great atmosphere, the food in the bakery looked divine too, but we were full!!

    A great place for breakfast, brunch, lunch or coffee and cakes. You can even takeaway bread cakes and more. The quality is first class and I would recommend the medicine Bakery to anyone. It is a rural gem.

    Food and drinks choice was excellent and the quality and presentation was great. Service was very slow however and we’d been sat for an hour before we had all of the food and drinks in our order. This included us having to flag down staff to order drinks and then food and to chase one of the drinks we ordered as there was such a gap between the first drinks arriving and the food being served. All staff seemed to be serving all customers including those wanting counter and takeaway service and the cafe was very busy. It’s clear that a different service system is required for busy periods so that teams are appointed to manage specific areas rather than the free for all that I observed.

    Staff were friendly and accommodating but food was average and it’s always been for a main meal for the price.

    3rd visit for brunch with my family. The medicine full breakfast was disappointing, they need to work on the hash brown, very overdone. The waitress seemed like she didn't want to be there, very obvious in her mannerisms and tone. The cronuts are amazing, I would only go back for them, on basis that they consider the hygiene, flies all over the pastries is not a good look. A real shame as my first visit was quite the opposite.

    Thank you for taking time to share your experience. I am so sorry to hear you were disappointed with the hash browns and your waitress. We will discuss your feedback with the Manager and Chefs on improvements that can be made through quality control and advance team training. We are looking at improvements in pastry displays , especially during the summer months and they will be implemented in the immediate future.
