    Food was not up to its usual standards, We had to move and sit outside as someone had an accident in the toilet and the door was left open with the horrendous smell coming from us in which we couldn’t eat our food around that smell, unfortunately won’t be visiting again for a long while.

    Service was good and everything we ordered was delivered accurately and promptly. Staff was friendly and polite. The place was clean and well maintained providing a lovely atmosphere. The food was delicious, however we've had 3 orders in which included poached eggs (6 total) and none of them was done properly. The poached eggs felt nearly hard boiled rather than runny which is what poached eggs are meant to be. Few months ago, we had the same experience but we gave it the benefit of the doubt as it was quite busy that day and we assumed the orders with the eggs were left out for too long. However, this time around the place wasn't too busy and the food was delivered very quickly, which means that the eggs were simply overcooked. A recommendation would be to simpliy boil the eggs for at least 30sec less. The Medicine Bakery is still a lovely place, and we would recommend it to anyone.

    Amazing service today at Codsall today, was greeted really nicely and warmly by a young gentleman who was really kind and caring towards my 11 month old daughter. Food came out really quickly and hot too.

    Waited over 15mins to be asked for order. Waited over 45mins for the food. When food arrived it was cold. Waiters kept bringing diffrent table number food over. Disappointed definitely would not recommend

    Had breakfast there this week for my husband’s birthday, not the usual full English breakfast etc so good to try something different - I had Passion fruit French toast which was delicious! Nice surprise at the end for my husband to get a cake & candle and a rendition of “happy birthday” ☺️

    Food was excellent, service positive. The ceiling plant fell from the ceiling onto our table, which wasn’t great. I was also over charged, the lady at the counter read out what I had ordered but omitted to include the additional cost for bacon, which I hadn’t ordered. So I paid, asked for a receipt and checked it as I walked outside. It was only then that I noticed I had been charged for something I hadn’t ordered. The queue by this time was out the door. So I decided to leave. This isn’t the first time I have been over charged. I would recommend staff show you the bill before asking for payment.
