The Crown is a new gastronomic pub created from the collaboration of the Medicine Bakery team with Joules Brewery. Located in the heart of Codsall, The Crown offers a modern take on traditional pub food using fresh, seasonal ingredients and inspired cooking techniques.

The Crown also has an extensive Ale and Beer list with a focus on local and sustainable producers. There is also a wide selection of wine and cocktails created by expert Mixologists.

The pub has two large bar areas, as well as a dining room and a private function space (email info@medicinebakery.co.uk for enquiries)

We were staying at the Wolverhampton holiday inn race course and looking for a Sunday roast meal. We decided to cab it to this pub and were happy we did. The food was great, large selection of beverages, and the space was clean and welcoming. Beer garden even had some evening sun! Kids like the selection of desserts. 10/10

A perfect place to go for a casual evening with a great selection of high quality and well cooked food. We tried a range of the street food which was all very tasty and generous portions. The wine was great too. We didn’t realise there was a pub quiz on but were seated in a lovely booth around the corner and out of the way of the noise. Service was very friendly. Staff could have been a little quicker to take our food order but we didn’t mind at all as we were enjoying our drinks. Would 100% come here again and have already recommended to friends and family

My partners food was raw and cold it was a disappointing experience as I’ve used other restaurants in Birmingham by medicine and had wonderful experiences

The staff were very friendly. Starters were tasty. Side dish was tasty, the burger I had, the bap was burnt at the bottom which didn't give a nice taste but the chicken was just right. I think the portions are small and the the meal itself is over priced. Desserts are over priced too. I think there needs to be a wider range of desserts.

This is the second time eating here and the first time it was exceptional but I was Very disappointed last night, the food was all very overcooked. Dry, flavourless burgers, overdone fries and flavourless toppings. So disappointed after such a good first visit 😔

The Sunday roasts and side dishes were all exceptional quality. The service was pleasant, approachable and attentive. Really enjoyable experience

Just not quiet service as first time we visited. Took staff a long time to take order for our drinks when my husband attempted to go to the bar. He was told it’s table service Food only warm plates wasn’t warm. Well keep trying because foods very tasty and it’s a beautiful pub
