The heritage site of the old Saanich Municipal Hall, is where the Med Grill calls home.
At 100 years old, the building holds generations of memories and history which we proudly showcase in the hallways of our restaurant. Committed to serving our community, we have been a local Victoria favourite since we opened in 1997.
We carefully infused our style of chic yet cozy west-coast vibe with the delicious flavours of the Mediterranean.

A lovely atmosphere to enjoy tasty meals while engaging in conversation with a friend for several hours. The staff is always cheerfully helpful in every way, whether changing your seating preference or amending your meal order. Med Grill is simply a delightful place to dine and has easily become my favourite restaurant.

I got the ad for the Thanksgiving Turkey dinner at $30 a plate. I have been there before and had the Tuscany dinner at the same price. It included a 3 course meal. I assumed the turkey would be the same but I was wrong. After receiving the first plate we sent it back as everything was cold. When we received the remake, there was actually less food on the plate. There was 3 small pieces of turkey, 2 carrot slices and a very small piece of broccolini. There was no dessert. I should have stuck with the other meal. This meal makes me never want to return to the Med Grill. When you advertise a special Turkey dinner, make sure it is memorable experience.

Enjoyed our time at Med Grill. Some of the food wasn’t great, the three bread appetizer misses the mark and the dips were odd. Beef dip wasn’t quite right, was more like pulled pork than beef dip. Quesadilla did not taste good. Pasta dinner with cream sauce and chicken was delicious and I would order that again. Overall we like the restaurant, the decorations and the attentive staff. Will probably return at some point.
