The heritage site of the old Saanich Municipal Hall, is where the Med Grill calls home.
At 100 years old, the building holds generations of memories and history which we proudly showcase in the hallways of our restaurant. Committed to serving our community, we have been a local Victoria favourite since we opened in 1997.
We carefully infused our style of chic yet cozy west-coast vibe with the delicious flavours of the Mediterranean.

Great visit once again to the Med Grill. My request for a booth was heard, and accommodated. My fav salad of the beef carpaccio was delish. Wait staff are always lovely and welcoming. Imma fan.

Our waitress was friendly but very busy. She did a good job under the circumstances Our food was the worst experience we have ever had. The pork chop was overcooked, really dry & unsauced. I have the scallop special. The risotto tasted like it had been sitting under a heat rack for a very long time. It had a heated crust over it. Soup was delicious, dessert was good but you can tell was mass produced earlier in the day perhaps and left in a fridge until needed We eat here often so we will be back, but this was not the best experience We knew and ran into people we knew who were there around the same time. After chatting later when I got home, they also were not happy with last nights meals. (The had the salmon)

The Med Grill Royal Oak is my go-to restaurant for lunch with my girlfriends and family. The food is consistently delicious and the service is excellent. I love the building, the decor and the ambience.

Great meal as usual. Cheesecake is always a different flavour. Kudos to whoever came up with the Blackberry Orange combo. Best I’ve ever tasted!!! Thanks!

Had brunch with friends, loved the waffles (just wished they were hot) but our waitress was excellent. Overall great experience!

We went very early , 3:45 to ensure we could get a patio table, but were disappointed to learn on arrival that the patio was not open. June 17
