   Very Good Restaurant had some good Surprises like the Salade de Celeri Rave The waitress I forgot her Name it was Emma or something close to that she was awesome and took care of us very well i couldn't ask for better service. She was always there for all our needs. The place was a bit hot tho like the Heater was working on a full-pin

   Best filet mignon with béarnaise sauce that I’ve ever eaten. (Be sure to say chef’s option) Extraordinary hostess and wait service Wonderful appetizers and sides Great ambiance

   Très beau restaurant, belle ambiance, le service est incroyable, tout le personnel est très gentil et attentionné, notre serveur Valter, wow nous n`avons jamais recu un aussi bon service dans aucun autre restaurant, il suivait notre rythme pour la nourrriture, il était toujours attentif à ce qu`il nous manque rien, très drôle et gentil, on demandera pour lui certainement quand nous y retournerons.

   First of all, on my reservation I put that we are celebrating my sons 16th birthday and I would expect the server to bring that up and there was no mention of it even when they brought the desert. It was very slow, I think they were maybe short staff. The speaker was on top of our table and we all found it annoying to hear the same stupid beat over and over. It was way to close the speaker to the table for that kind of music. I ordered fillet mignon medium rare and it was only rare. My husband and son tried it and they both said the same thing so we send it back so they can cook to the right temperature but it came back the same. Fist time ever I did not like my fillet mignon. We ordered beef tartar, it was delicious but for the amount of tartar there was too little crackers. My kids ordered drinks when their food arrived and it took for ever to get them. They had to stop eating to wait for their drinks. Anyway, I was very disappointed, we were so excited to go there but it turned out really bad. I would unfortunately never go back more recommend to someone else unless I know it's changed. I'm sorry for the bad review

   The table was very nice our coat check guys was amazing our front desk service welcome us was very polite and efficient. Love our service Emma. The food was very nice plus the dessert was nice had an amazing date night.

   I was thoroughly impressed by the service. I didn’t just get good service from one server, but the entire team, from reception all the way to the manager. I was in Montreal on a business trip and went to Méchant Boeuf for dinner. Sarah took great care of me. I observed that she never stopped paying attention to all her customers regardless if she just took orders from a table or serving drinks. Jean who brings my order from the kitchen was also super professional and polite. He accidentally hit the chair across from me when bringing a dish. His first reaction was not his pain but apologizing to me for shaking the table! While I was eating, I also noticed Manager Simon fixing a decorative plant that flourished a bit too much under good care from the staff so it doesn’t drape too close to the table next to it. When I commented to Jean that the service is quite impressive, he shared that they have a great team there and he’s very happy doing his job. When I provided compliment for Sarah and Jean to Manager Simon, you can tell he was genuinely appreciative of the feedback and he really cares about customer experience at the restaurant. My review focuses mainly on the service as it is really impressive and rare to see exceptional service and a happy team like I saw at Méchant Boeuf. There are plenty of good food in Montreal. However, if you want to have a pleasant dining experience with good food and exceptional service, Méchant Boruf is the place to be.

   Food, service, was excellent. Went above and beyond. Steaks were cooked perfectly and made sure we were happy with our experience. The gentleman who took care of us was professional and attentive, went above and beyond. Unfortunately I didn’t get his name. Over all, 5 stars.

   Bel endroit, possibilité de stationner avec l'hôtel Nelligan juste à côté. Excellent service. Nourriture : Entrées excellentes, bavette ok. Mon conjoint a prit la côte de bœuf = juste un os et du gras. Nous l'avons mentionné au serveur qui a avisé sa collègue qui nous a offert de refaire le plat ou d'en choisir un autre. Refusée par mon conjoint, son plat a été retiré de la facture.

   Our service was absolutely phenomenal, the food and drink selection were perfect as well. This was my first dinner in Montreal and 10/10 must visit again.

    The food was tasted amazing (though the cesar salad had a few too many extra bacon chunks for my liking). The server was attentive and respectful. The ambiance was great. The venue was excellent.
