MEATliquor N1 inhabits an old Citroen Garage, hidden away just off Upper Street near the Angel Central Shopping Centre and smack bang in the middle of Highbury & Islington and Angel Stations. Just a short walk away from Essex Road and even a short bus ride away from Shoreditch.

Coming to see us before the football? We’re not far from Arsenal Emirates Stadium and offer 20% discount to ticketholders on match days.

We’ve got a big beer garden with loads of space for those looking to drink and dine al-fresco and even a Mezzanine and Private Dining Room both available for Private Hires.

We’ve got a great weekday lunch deal, so if your office is nearby make sure you pay us a visit. If you want to wash it down with a Craft Beer or Cocktail, we promise we won’t tell your boss....

Service was excellent. Food could have been better. Particularly the burgers. Beef was overcooked and bread was hard. Fries, pickles, Mac n cheese and fingers were very nice. Overall expensive meal for fair food quality.

When this restaurant originally opened it was the hottest ticket in town and the food was excellent. We were the only people in the restaurant and still had to wait 15 minutes to be served. The food was tasteless and decidedly average. The restaurant itself felt grubby and loved. It is a shame to see a brand that was so well loved end up this way.

Sat outside in the sun. Was very busy as football match day but servers were very good and attentive. Evie in particular

loved the atmosphere, the place its self is rustic which was brilliant , the staff was nice. However the food is extremely over priced , the service charge is high and i felt rushed.

Fantastic staff, really attentive. Great food and amazing drinks. They even spotted something with the food that we didn’t and they didn’t charge us for that item. Really fantastic service and everyone so friendly welcoming and made us feel right at home.

MEATLiquor does not disappoint. I think the menu has gotten even better with the varied options. As a vegetarian I love the veggie/vegan options which do not compromise on flavor & taste and can be enjoyed by everybody. The Hippie fries continue to be my favourite and everyone at our table, meat eaters and veggies alike, were very happy with our meal and the variety of options. The staff are also incredibly friendly, approachable and proactive & the setting feels unique and memorable.
