Meat On Ocean is a meat-centric, modern steakhouse in Santa Monica that offers both a sense of adventure and breathtaking views of the Pacific Ocean. Beyond the offerings of a world-class steakhouse, Meat On Ocean features an artisanal charcuterie bar, an exhibition dry-aging room and a variety of prime beef – from dry-aged domestic cuts to Japanese A-5. Integral to the operation is a highly trained crew of servers and butchers, who communicate directly with Guests about the beef, organically farmed chickens, house made sausages, choice seafood and more.

Located on the corner of Ocean and Broadway, Meat On Ocean is steps from the action - including the Santa Monica Pier, shopping and hotels.

Starting May 2024, Meat On Ocean is also your headquarters for private dining and events, with customizable spaces that are perfect for social events, corporate meetings, birthday parties, anniversary celebrations, wedding receptions and ceremonies, with full audio/visual connectivity.

I got the American wagyu ribeye, peppercorn style. There was a sweet element to it and I’ve never had a ribeye seasoned that way, clashing flavor profiles for me. The monkey style bread served at the beginning tasted a bit stale, almost like I’ve had better yeast rolls at Logan’s roadhouse. I also had the mash potatoes with Parmesan and it tasted great. I had an old fashioned and it tasted great, although the bar was slammed and took 20min to receive. The meat cut was great for the value; great marbling on the ribeye and not too chewy, I asked for mine to be prepared as medium. I would go back and try a different seasoning style before saying that I wouldn’t come back here

We’re from Texas so we’re used to good steaks but meat on ocean never disappoints!! Not only were the steaks delicious but the sides were as well. We also had excellent cocktails and the highlight of our evening was our server, Emily. She’s amazing! The next time we’re in town, we will be back!

We brought my mom here for her birthday and she absolutely loved it. Our server made excellent recommendations. The food was delicious and the staff was very attentive. Will definitely be coming back!

Love Meat On Ocean…Love the food, the service and the ambiance. The ribeye melts in your mouth, the salmon and the sea bass is cooked to perfection. The vegetable sides are just as good!!!

Steak wasn’t cooked properly - it was cooked medium rare when I requested medium. But it was still good food, and the service was excellent!
