Meat On Ocean is a meat-centric, modern steakhouse in Santa Monica that offers both a sense of adventure and breathtaking views of the Pacific Ocean. Beyond the offerings of a world-class steakhouse, Meat On Ocean features an artisanal charcuterie bar, an exhibition dry-aging room and a variety of prime beef – from dry-aged domestic cuts to Japanese A-5. Integral to the operation is a highly trained crew of servers and butchers, who communicate directly with Guests about the beef, organically farmed chickens, house made sausages, choice seafood and more.

Located on the corner of Ocean and Broadway, Meat On Ocean is steps from the action - including the Santa Monica Pier, shopping and hotels.

Starting May 2024, Meat On Ocean is also your headquarters for private dining and events, with customizable spaces that are perfect for social events, corporate meetings, birthday parties, anniversary celebrations, wedding receptions and ceremonies, with full audio/visual connectivity.

Food was average for the amount charged My Rib Eye steak was tough and chewy Fillet Mignon was way undercooked and had to be sent back Lobster tail was very bland A very disappointing experience considering I had booked this from Australia and was looking forward to a culinary experience. The asparagus and Mac and cheese were good as was the bread Will never return, nor will I recommend this restaurant to anyone. Way overpriced and below par food and then I have to pay 20% gratuity. Absolute joke

this experience did not disappoint in the slightest. my husband and i booked a reservation to celebrate our anniversary and we were seated in Maxwell's section. he is a delight! informative, friendly service and his selections/menu favorites were spot on delicious. the best part of this experience had to be the steak (sorry max) the quality, flavor, and texture of the steak here is bar none. my husband ordered the filet with peppercorn sauce and a sauce trio on the side. best steak we've ever had. thank you max for helping us have the best experience possible to celebrate our anniversary!

Took my best friend out for her birthday. We were sat right away on the patio, just in time for the sunset. We ordered their butcher bread and a dozen oysters. Then I got the surf and turf and she got an 8 oz filet and we shared the Mac and cheese. Service was excellent, food came out hot and cooked perfectly. We had the bread pudding for dessert. We don’t drink but we had mocktails. I had the Broadway and she had the margarita verde. Both excellent! Management came by to make sure we were enjoying ourselves and Max was our server! He was great, checked up on us a few times and made good conversation. Will def be returning!

I ordered the 60 dry aged ribeye, it came out way under and was not seasoned. That explains all the sauces they push for the steak. We will never go back.

Great experience, food was great, asked to be moved from the balcony seating, to another table away from the windows, since it was somewhat cold, and they were accommodating to us. Server was great, overall experience was excellent. Will definitely be back!

One of the best places I’ve ever eaten. The food was amazing, but I was pleasantly surprised by how nice all the employees were and how short the wait was considering how busy it was. Everyone working seemed like they actually wanted to be there and I never felt forgotten. Will definitely be returning to try all the other delicious looking food!

One of my favorite restaurants. Amazing food and drinks. Service is out of this world. The ambience and view is unmatched at sunset time. I bring all special guest to the restaurant to really show them a good time.
