Meat On Ocean is a meat-centric, modern steakhouse in Santa Monica that offers both a sense of adventure and breathtaking views of the Pacific Ocean. Beyond the offerings of a world-class steakhouse, Meat On Ocean features an artisanal charcuterie bar, an exhibition dry-aging room and a variety of prime beef – from dry-aged domestic cuts to Japanese A-5. Integral to the operation is a highly trained crew of servers and butchers, who communicate directly with Guests about the beef, organically farmed chickens, house made sausages, choice seafood and more.

Located on the corner of Ocean and Broadway, Meat On Ocean is steps from the action - including the Santa Monica Pier, shopping and hotels.

Starting May 2024, Meat On Ocean is also your headquarters for private dining and events, with customizable spaces that are perfect for social events, corporate meetings, birthday parties, anniversary celebrations, wedding receptions and ceremonies, with full audio/visual connectivity.

Excellent service. Glasses were spotted and they brought clean glasses without having to be told. Hot towels with lemons to clean you hands after eating. Multiple servers check on us. Only one drink was horrible the French 75 after asking for a new bottle of Prosecco still tasted flat.

Had a great Saturday night here , got the prime ribeye chef choice on cook , came out great! Side of asparagus so fresh and juicy also got a side of mac and cheese which had the best cheesy profile. I also got the choice of 3 sauces which weren’t needed because the steak was perfectly cooked but for added experience it was well worth it. 10/10 would recommend!

For Valentine’s Day the restaurant was very busy. The food was COLD, not warm, but COLD. They did not offer to make things up or do anything about it.

Service was slow, im not sure if they added extra tables for valentines day but the servers were overwhelmed. The server never even offered us all the options on the menu when other servers were doing it for other tables. Had to send my steak back 3 times as it came completely rare instead of medium rare. Food was good but would not recommend going on a busy night. Terrible customer service.

For $150 a person I expected a little more. Crab cake tasted amazing but presentation was not appealing. Steak was just ok- nothing to write home about. Server was honest and loved it

Great food service and atmosphere definitely somewhere I’m looking forward to visiting again! Valentina our server was amazing and accommodated our every need!

Meat on Ocean was amazing. All the flavors in the food tasted so good. The beet salad was great and I loved my filet with béarnaise. The server was so friendly and helpful when ordering.
