We went to celebrate our 25th Anniversary and the Meat Market exceeded all our expectations! Food, service, and ambiance were terrific. It does get quite loud and energetic so it might not be the best choice for a quiet/romantic night out, but we loved the Vibes! Food was EXCELLENT! I’m a serious foodie and the flavors were top notch on everything from the fun fried corn served as we sat down all the way to the decadent cookies and cream crème brûlée for desert. We felt special from the moment we were seated from the complimentary champagne to all the wishes for a Happy Anniversary from the staff. 10/10 We will be back!

The service was slow and it wasn’t busy on a Monday night. We sat for over 15 minutes waiting for plates for our appetizers. 2 of us got filets, Gouda tots and lobster mashed potatoes. The filets were not even seasoned, they were flavorless. The potatoes all could have used some more seasoning. To spend over $400 for 3 people and have a mediocre meal is ridiculous. I will never go back there and I will not recommend.

We always love Meat Market, but the only annoyances are the valet and the check in process. On a Friday or Saturday evening, the valet gets overbooked fast, and can’t take more cars, and the nearby parking spaces are often full too. Best to Uber there versus drive yourself. The bigger frustration is the check in process. They often seem to WAY overbook their capacity, in hopes that last minute cancellations will bring them back to a full house, but this rarely happens. Even if you have a reservation, be prepared to wait for a long time. In our last three visits, we waited 20 min, 50 min, and 40 min past our reservation time.

I’ll preface by saying all the food we had besides the steaks was delicious. The restaurant was loud and packed, the poor arrangement of the seating in the garden section made it almost impossible to get in and out of seats because you’re instantly pressed against another seat behind you. One of our servers was very kind, the other was quite rude and would take items that weren’t even finished yet without a single word said. The steaks were just okay, nothing I’d want to come back for specifically. One steak was well overcooked and all that was given to us was an apology. Overall not a place I’d come back to except for some of the appetizers, even then I’m not sure I’ll revisit.

The food was really good! The hostess skipped our reservation and it was clear when she came up and asked us our name and sat us right after. People make mistakes so we understand but it was a mixture of that, not having a waiting area, and how crowded it was. We won’t go back on a weekend but might on a week night.

The girls and I were looking for a new spot for our weekly happy hour dates and we found it. Everything from the ambiance, food, location and service was on point. Our server “K” was very attentive. We had a bit of a snag due to our party size (5) and reservations for bar seating, but she came through and resolved the issue - seamlessly. Now the food, LISTEN… Happy hour food is normally a drag but MM thoughtfully selected items suitable for its clientele. The accompanying drink menu was also 5 stars since a girl loves martinis and margs. We will be back for sure and I’m certain we will be regulars!

This was my mother’s first time at this restaurant and our server, Chris (that looks like Will Smith - give him a raise), gave us both the best service I’ve ever received there. This was a birthday dinner and we ordered the 14 oz A5 wagyu off menu and the Tristan lobster tail along with truffle mac&cheese. 10/10 on everything. I recommend the lychee martini, it’s my go to. The Washington oysters were PERFECT! I highly recommend the octopus ceviche as well. Thanks again for making the perfect birthday dinner celebration!
