Meaghers O'Connell Bridge is a traditional Dublin pub with a modern twist. Looking for somewhere for a bite to eat for lunch or a delicious dinner before the theatre or show? Look no further than Meaghers, an Irish gastro bar located on Eden Quay, just off O’Connell Street and overlooking the famous O’Connell Bridge.

We're open 7 days a week for lunch/dinner and we also serve breakfast from 10am Thursday - Sunday. Try our modern take on traditional Irish favourites. Nice environment with poor service and bad food. Cheese toasty was dry and had no cheese and one small slice of ham. Shepard Pie was a bowl of soup with mashed potatoes floating on top and one slice of sandwich bread. Awful. And we waited 40 minutes after ordering! When asked about how are meal was we nicely explained the situation and the waiter said ok and walked away. Oh well. Have a beer but don’t eat here.

Nice Irish themed pub. The staff were friendly and very attentive. The toilets were good. The menu is very much pub grub. Food was nice other than the chicken wings which were tough. Need to chill the white wine properly!

We had a fabulous experience here in mid-August 2024. We sat in the basement, which was roomy and slightly more upscaled than the upstairs. The service was wonderful and the food was great. I’d highly recommend it for a casual, slightly-upscaled atmosphere with great food and service with a smile.

Beautiful downstairs, lovely decor and lighting. Amazing food, we had steak, shepherds pie and a burger. Would highly recommend
