So glad that there is great fish choices on the menu (branzino and swordfish), and both were cooked to perfection, nicely portioned, and priced at a good value. I thought the cocktails were excellent, but a little small for the price. Next time we go, I'll probably just get wine. Service and ambience was great. I was running a little late, and I love it that - when we called to say so - the host said "take your time". it took the pressure off us to speed/rush.

Overall, an amazing experience! Great customer service, very detailed and amazing views. One of the best restaurants in Grand Rapids, Michigan!

Second time at MDRD and we were fortunate to have Ellie D as our server both times. She was so attentive and on time with everything. We never had to ask or request anything of her because just as we wanted to order another round of drinks or food she was right there. Very personable and hospitable on both occasions. Food was really good the beef tenderloin, lamb chops, and patatas bravas are a must.

We booked our date night for Independence Day to overlook the fireworks of downtown GR from their incredible 27th floor view. The ambiance just from that, let alone the beautiful atmosphere of the restaurant itself, garnered 5 stars! The food and wine portions of the experience were just as awe inspiring, I’ve done Michelin cuisine before and the plating all the way down to the pairings were on par. But where MDRD stands out is they have an exceptional service team, we felt not just taken care of but like Ellie was truly a friend. We fell in love, we will be back.

The most beautiful restaurant I have seen here in Michigan excellence service excellent cocktails everything was perfect and the food so delicious I will go there a 1000 times

Once again, MDRD provided a magical evening for our family. The food and service were amazing, and the views of dt GR and beyond are unbeatable. Our favorite tapas are the Pulpo a la Gallega (octopus) and the Salmon con Trufa. The Gin and Tonic and the Claramente are our most adored cocktails. Our server, Chilee, went above and beyond, offering exceptional treatment in the special dining room. Cheers to the MDRD team! We'll be back!

We stayed at the Amway and had an amazing dinner at MDRD. Our server, Brandon, was so great and ensured we had the best experience and gave us such great recommendations. Although it can be pricey to dine here, we highly recommend it!
