Having had the opportunity to dine at MDRD before, it was a no-brainer to make reservations for out of town relatives visiting. I specifically requested Brandon to be our waiter, upon arrival he greeted us as if we were old friends. When he handed us the menu, he immediately pulled them back and asked to allow him to select the meal…from the tapas, all the way to dessert….AND the wine. We were not disappointed! The meal was as delicious as the first time there…. If you are in the Grand Rapids area, I totally recommend taking the time to make reservations and dine there. The service is impeccable and the quality of food is beyond delicious.

Our experience was amazing. We were seated by the window. We was able to watch the sunset which was beautiful. We took pictures as well. Our experience started at the door the attendant was very nice and greeted us with a smile. As we was being walked to our table staff did greet us. Once seated our waitor “T” was magnificent. He knew the menu and gave excellent advice on wines and what to eat. He was able to explain and answer any questions we had. He was very attentive and did not pass judgement. We will definitely be back.

The view is absolutely stunning and the food amazing. We would travel to Grand Rapids just to go to the restaurant.

Great views , there for dessert only, dessert was good, it’s a bit pricey, service was a bit slow for that type of dining experience

I treated my parents to dinner at MDRD and we enjoyed our experience. The service was personal, with our server offering my mom tastes of wine for vintages that were new for her. I was impressed by all of the staff members' menu knowledge and the views were incredible as always.
