   Excellent place for a special occasion. Don't know which was better the food or the hospitality from the servers to the chef to the owners.

   We loved the dining experience.. all of it. The atmosphere, service, staff, food was top notch. It’s an experience so have patience and enjoy the culinary journey. A big thank you to chef and the whole crew.

   This was our first time at McNinch House. It was fantastic from the grounds to the front door. The inside is just 1890s beautiful. Menu offerings were perfect and perfectly prrepared. It was all very personal and perfect for a special occasion. A true Charlotte gem.

   We had a wonferful dinner! It was more of an experience than a regular night out fine dining. I highly recommend for special occasions.

   Fabulous 4-course dinner with outstanding service! And the ambiance in this gorgeous Victorian mansion is beyond description. Can't wait to come back again soon.

   It was very underwhelming and there is an added 20% service charge and when I asked if that was the gratuity I was told no, so there the expectation to tip again after the 20% service charge. Beyond that, I’ve lived in Charlotte for 4 years and always thought about going. Heard good things, but was really underwhelmed by the experience which certainly didn’t justify the cost. The pork loin was confusing, couldn’t really figure out the flavor profile and same with the soup. Also, we were there for 3.15 hours- that’s a long time for a four course meal and so it just felt very dragged out. Again, it was fine for the experience I guess but didn’t really see the hype.

   The McNinch house was beautiful and vibe was perfect. It had just the right amount of dimmed lighting and tasteful music playing very subtly in the background. On a Thursday night it was as quiet as a library, allowing my wife and I to easily enjoy our conversation and meal together. When you eat here, plan to enjoy a long, pleasant evening; don’t expect to be in and out in 90 minutes. The food is prepped to order, which means it takes time. We began our delicious “death by chocolate” desert almost three hours after our seating started. (I have a feeling this might not have been their normal time frame.) I’m glad we went, and appreciate their extra touch of giving a rose to my wife in honor of our anniversary dinner!

   Was fully expecting a dining room full of older patrons like other fine dining establishments in Charlotte. But was pleasantly surprised at the youngish couples and girl groups! Food, service and sommelier were 5 star! We’ll be back!

    This was our first time dining here, and it did not disappoint! Our waiter was super friendly, the chef came out multiple times to check in with us, and the food was fantastic. We happened to go on a night when it wasn't busy at all, so the ambiance was great too. We would definitely go again
