What a wonderful evening we had at the McNinch House! From the time we walked in , until the last bite, we were made to feel like family. The food was excellent, and we were able to tell Chef Eric personally when he came to our table to check in on our meals. The servers and hostess were so involved with us having a great evening. The wine was perfectly matched for our meal, and the pre-dinner cocktails were special. We can not wait to go back again!!!!

The ambience and decor alone is enough to give this restaurant 5 stars. Matthew did an excellent job curating the meal. Alex paired are wines perfectly and Jordan, our server, was very attentive. The food was seasoned to perfection and creatively displayed with elegance. The mood was not overally prim, but was an inimitable combination of refinement and intimate. Great place for special celebrations and relaxed gatherings.

Loved it, very different. The food was great, and the service was excellent. We went there for our 24th anniversary, and we treated the best by Mathew, Alex, and Jordan. We were treated so special. They treated everyone special that walked in the door. We would differently go again and recommend.

I recently dined at McNinch House Restaurant to celebrate my sister's birthday, and it was a delightful surprise! The atmosphere is regal, with a perfect blend of historic charm and elegance. Every dish we had was absolutely delicious, from start to finish. A special mention to Matthew, our waiter, who was exceptional—attentive, friendly, and always on top of everything. He truly made the evening even more special. If you’re looking for a place to celebrate a memorable occasion, McNinch House is a fantastic choice!

A wonderful dinner experience for our group. I had several co-workers visiting Charlotte for meetings and the dinner was the highlight of the trip.

We had a great anniversary dinner at the McNinch House. The owner came gave us a history of the House and the service and food were top notch.

We loved our evening at the McNinch house. The service was outstanding! We were greeted at the door by Wendy, who sat us on the porch (as requested). We met Mitch (one of the owners) as he was finishing his yard work for the day. He greeted us and set up a few fans in case we needed them. Our server Jordan, came out and explained the menu options to us. We decided to have the “McNinch experience”, which was the Chef’s table. We then met our sommelier, Alex. He presented us with multiple wine pairings throughout the meal. The food was a delightful mix of savory plates decided by the chef and our server. We enjoyed 2 appetizers, 2 main course entrees and dessert. What made this meal so special was the service. Everyone took their time to chat with us and never made us feel rushed, our lovely experience lasted 4 hours! We even went inside and toured the restaurant, hearing the great history of this gem in Uptown! It was a beautiful celebration of our anniversary.

Absolutely fabulous! The opening courses and entrees are incredibly good. And the chocolate mousse was the best I've ever had in my life. Three staff members take care of you throughout your dinner in this beautiful Victorian atmosphere. Congrats to Dee Dee and Mitch Clark for continuing to bless Charlotte with one of the best restaurants in the country.
