Built in 1931 as Bothell Junior High, the art-deco style Anderson School and its surrounding buildings has been transformed. Located 20 minutes from downtown Seattle, McMenamins renovated the property to include: 72 guestrooms – all with private baths, televisions and free Wi-Fi; restaurants, small bars, a brewery, a movie theater, a swimming pool and event spaces. The 5 private event spaces will accommodate groups of 10 to 600 guests, complete with onsite catering and handcrafted McMenamins beverages. Contact our sales team to inquire or book your event.

Amazing tiki bar! The drinks were phenomenal and so was the food! The service/bartenders were great and really made the experience enjoyable. Would highly recommend checking this place out.

What a fun place. Sat at the corner table that overlooked the swimming pool. Enjoyed run drinks and tapas. Enjoyed all of our entrees.

Please review the menu prior to arriving. The food was good but not suited for children if you are family dining. Overlooking the swimming pool was interesting. I prefer the other restaurant on site.

Friendly people, fun atmosphere like dining at a Tiki bar in Disney. Food was delicious.

The place was empty, don't know why I needed reservations. Right above a swimming pool. Kind of noisy. The menu is rather limited. The drink menu had more stuff on it than the food menu. After looking things over we decided to leave without ordering. Next time we are looking for someplace new and different. We will definitely be looking at some place different than the North Shore Lagoon.

Great experience. We went to the tiki lounge and the tavern and the food and service was great.

They should call this McMidamins. It was average in almost every way. You don't actually need a reservation (nor would it matter since there is no host). You just walk in and seat yourself. Eventually the bartender comes around to take a food order. The food was OK, the drinks were fairly terrible by most tiki standards. This would have been a two star review but I bumped it one star because they did a great job with the ambiance and decor. It's a little weird overlooking a public pool and also a bit weird that the place is inside of a historic school(???) It's like this place doesn't know what it wants to be.
