Situé dans le complexe South Mountain Recreation, sur les rives du réservoir Orange, le McLoone's Boathouse offre une vue spectaculaire à ses clients. Ce restaurant peut accueillir jusqu'à 240 convives à l'intérieur et de 80 à 100 de plus à l'extérieur (selon le principe du premier arrivé, premier servi). I did enjoy my experience at restaurant, but something’s were off. Being ignored is a problem for me. Or it could’ve been a mishap we never know. We did not receive our drinks until after we were finished eating. Our waitress probably had too many tables but we don’t know. Thank goodness we had the water when we were first seated. We also got up and asked another person if we can get two orders of sprite. Our waitress did apologize.

The entertainment was very loud, where you could hear conversations or them calling your name while you were waiting. I asked for bread and the dip that they give was a bowl of oil.

We went for the brunch. Good selection.. was mostly a fan of the crazy smoked salmon, raw oysters, and shrimp..but they had similar brunch items (scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon, potatoes, French toast, chicken fingers and fries for the kids).. they had 2 types of salads set up.. a fruit salad.. a bagel platter.. and a bit size pastries/dessert platter.. definitely will be going back..

I was wondering why we hadn't been in a while... now I remember. Butternut squash ravioli is a fairly common dish in this area. It's not supposed to be plated on a roasting hot bowl such that it's almost completed dried out. The wait staff hustle and are attentive... but if management doesn't give them guidance on table coverage then how do they know who to check on? Menus is priced about 10% higher than needed. Might also consider some acoustic tile or other work to help with the cacophony when there's a full room. Also consider having more 4 tops: 2 of us at a 6 top felt strange.
