While at the bar it was ok after that down hill, no service the food was not hot and crab cakes should be called stuffing! Very disappointed, haven’t been there in years and will not return!

Takes reservations for 9:45, but states kitchen closes by 10 making dining impossible. Hostess says ‘you can drink at the bar’, no we made reservation to eat, not drink. This was 3rd and last time going here. First time was a different hostess and we had a great meal. 2nd time different hostess seats us in limbo, way in corner, claiming reservations and outside dining were taking rest of tables. Not even close, outside was empty and dining room had 4 tables used. 3rd time we get told kitchen closing time excuse. Now tell me, why take reservations when by the time we’re able to sit and look at the menu the kitchen will close within minutes? Actually, it seems as a mixed couple this hostess is fully playing the passive aggressive move seen far too often, Yea she appears mixed, but jealous and on a power trip. The 2nd outing our waiter who seated us made an awkward excuse for the far away table as he was a black male and knew what game she was playing. He did his best to chill us out. I’m a white male with a black girlfriend, and this is a message to the mixed hostess who seems to be a full time hater. Owner, you know who I’m talking about-she couldn’t get a man of her own that’s why she’s working Friday nights.

We had a wonderful lunch at McLoone’s Boathouse. I had a delicious lobster roll and my husband enjoyed his burger, The service was great and we were able to eat outside. Fantastic.

Food was good. Appetizers were cold. Make sure you bring bug spray! lots of mosquitos!

We arrived 2 hours earlier than our reservation as we were done at the Zoo next door, we were told to stand on the side and they would accommodate us. 50 minutes later we were told we had to wait and they were not very nice. Had we known we would have just left. We were finally seated outside in the sun. The waiter Brien I think, was very nice and the Cobb salad was great.

Was excited to try out Mcloons after celebrating my daughters birthday at TB next door. While it is a nice place look wise (we sat inside) we were sat at the WAY back on the dining room that was only holding 2 other small parties when we arrived. We ordered the margarita pizza and kids chicken fingers and fries for the kids.. i ordered chips with guacamole and a side sweet potato fries. Husband had a beer and I had their red sangria. The pizza and chicken wings were eh. The chips and guacamole were or had to be straight out of the movie theater bag - a legit one handful of chips/ a convince store guac. sweet potato fries were decent. Beer was beer but my sangria tasted literally like grape flavor medicine. all that for $75 not including tip. to me it was worth half the price. was really disappointed for what i thought would be a much better experience.

The setting is beautiful. Our server was MIA. I witnessed other servers running back and forth to care for tables outside and only saw our server twice (including the time I had to find her inside to get silverware after our food was delivered).
