    Other reviews mention bread. Can’t review, never received. $99 bottle of champagne brought warm and never chilled. Tuna appetizer looked like scraps mixed with (beets?) to make appear like a larger portion. Servers vacuuming all around the table during dinner. Having worked for a Landry’s property in the past, I guess I shouldn’t be as shocked as I was.

    Overall, a very lackluster experience. The service was friendly, but also extremely slow. We arrived around 4:30pm on a Sunday, so it wasn't overly crowded at all, but they were either understaffed or just moving at a very slow pace. The food was all bland and just mediocre at best, and the drinks were nothing better than you could mix up at home. It will go down as a disappointing and forgettable meal, and we will scratch McCormick and Schmidt from our list of places to eat moving forward.

    The waitress was completely in the weeds and not experienced. We asked for a menu 2 times. We were left waiting for drinks and food. We were seated at 5:15p. Received our beverages at 5:45p. Received our lukewarm food at 6:08p. We talked with GM who we had to request her help to get our order in as the waitress disappeared. GM was less than sympathetic. What was to be a nice and relaxing dinner was a disaster.

    Service is so slow. It took so long to get water at our table that we ended up filling our own glasses from a pitcher. Drinks took forever. Waiter often missing for extended periods. Food average at best. We were late for our show.

    Here's a summary of our experience: - Arrived at 5PM - Sat immediately - Water provided at 515PM - Salads arrived at 525PM - goes well with water - First glass of wine served at 530PM - Server apologizes and indicates manager will be stopping by to talk with us - Entree orders placed - Bread Arrives shortly after 530 - Run out of water, so I get picture from serving stand, and bring to table to self refill - Go to the bar to get 2nd round, because waiter is no where to be found. Stand at bar for 10 minutes, while 3 frantic people behind the bar frantically make drinks, not one of them acknowledging me with a "I'll be with you in a moment". - Head back to table at 545, waiter stops by to let us know "I'm doing my best" - No food, no 2nd round, no nothing at 605PM - Wait to cancel entrees and pay for salads - No one shows up, and we leave the restaurant at 615PM, with no meal and no check. - PLEASE CALL ME (my number's on the reservation), so we can pay for our salads.

    No refills on water or bread, despite asking multiple times. Waitress hadn’t ordered our cocktails when we asked about them 20 minutes later. It was packed but dying down by then. Unfortunately, a very special occasion wasn’t well enjoyed and we were late to our show

    Haven't been to M&S. Greeted properly, sat promptly. Excellent service and food quality were superb.

    We brought a group of 4 for dinner. We each ordered one of the seafood dishes: salmon, whitefish, shrimp scampi, halibut. Disappointingly, the food was merely average. Service was painfully slow, even though the restaurant was only about 1/4 full. One thing surprised us: when we asked for a small taste of a wine that was offered both by the glass and by the bottle, so we could decide if we wanted to order a bottle, the waiter said something like..."well the restaurant doesn't like to offer tastes like that." I have NEVER experienced a response like that, even in restaurants in much lower price points. He did finally (20 mins later) reluctantly bring a taste, and we did order a bottle. It was a white wine, but the server never brought a wine cooler for it (???). It took 30 minutes to get water brought to our table as well. The waiter apologized for all the delays, but it definitely put a damper on the evening. Given the average quality of the food, the extremely slow service, and the high cost of the bill, we can't recommend.

    I ordered the seared scallops and risotto. The scallops were tasty but the risotto could have used more seasoning. Otherwise, the experience was good. Our waitress, Melinda, was entertaining! 😀
