    Horrible experience without even trying to food. Came in, and was greeted by Ryan. I ordered a drink, to which he asked me how old I was - I answered 28 (which is true), after which he asked to see my ID. I, unfortunately, forgot my ID, so he said he can't serve me - sure, that's fine, and I understand. However, I never had an issue like that at a restaurant that positions itself an "upscale" - this is not a bar where people go to get drunk. A few minutes later my mom joined - I obviously shared with her what happened, in a casual way. He came up again, and she ordered the drink I initially wanted. He also mentioned he can't bring 2 drinks at the same time (also ridiculous, there's no such rule). They brought the drink, and left us alone for a couple minutes to look at the menu. A couple minutes later, a girl came in (seemingly even younger than me; not relevant really, but I was baffled) , saying that she is a MANAGER, checking in to make sure I am not drinking that drink. I'm sorry.....what??? Am I a criminal? Are you assuming my mom is letting an underaged drink an alcoholic beverage??? This was so offensive, mindless, and straight up rude, that we decided we are not spending our evening there, so we left. This is a ridiculous behavior for a place like that. That server was also "training" a new one - this should not be an exemplary behavior that is being trained on and enforced for new employees.

    The wait staff made our birthday celebration so special, and the food was absolutely delicious. I had the scallops with pea risotto and the scallops were cooked perfectly and the risotto was perfect. Overall, an exceptional experience.

    We stopped in for Restaurant Week and opted to have one item from the regular menu and one from the Restaurant Week special menu. I had fish and chips (regular menu), the fish was firm and tasty, the breading crisp and not at all greasy. The fries were also very tasty and again, not at all greasy. My wife had the salmon from the Restaurant week menu, along with a mixed greens salad with strawberries, goat cheese and a strawberry vinaigrette dressing, finished off with their "upside down" pie ala mode. The salad was very tasty and fresh, the salmon was prepared perfectly and served on a bed of risotto with ancient grains. The desert was the perfect finish to a wonderful meal. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a nice dinner before or after a show in town!

    We participated in the “Pittsburgh Restaurant week” event where they presented a special menu with options for a 3 course meal for the low price of $45. There was also an option to upgrade to a 4 course meal with a $7 up charge, which was well worth it. My partner and I got different meals so we could try most of the options available. Everything was delicious from the appetizer to the dessert. My favorite part of the meal was the ship kisses. This sweet and savory dish alone had us planning our next return! the upside down walnut crusted apple pie was my second favorite part of the meal! A great way to end the night. Our server, Kyle, was very kind and attentive. He accommodated our every need in a timely manner. Other staff were helpful as well, grabbing our dishes as we were finished with them, clearing the table. We definitely will be returning in the near future.

    Went with two friends and an 18 month old for Pittsburgh Restaurant Week. Food was great, drinks were decent. Highly recommend the shrimp kisses appetizer (I believe that is what is was called). Filet was cook perfectly was tasted fantastic. Service was exceptional. Our waiter, Ben, was very sweet and was very patient especially with indecisive girls and a toddler.

    It was a very nice dinner with large portions that were very delicious. Enjoyed the atmosphere of the restaurant.

    Waited at the host station for more than 5 minutes without anyone coming to check me in. I could not wait, as my lunch meeting had a very short window.

    Went early in the evening due to seeing a show. Bar was very busy and dining room virtually empty. Our specialty drink were outstanding, the appetizers excellent and dinner great flavors. Our server was very attentive and timed everything just right.

    One of the best dinners we’ve had in a long time. Service was excellent!! Ambience was terrific. Love being able to hear table conversation without yelling over the music. Will be a repeat customer!!!
