    Wait time very slow. Waitress claimed it was a “backup in the kitchen.” Interesting because guests arriving after us ate and left while we continued to wait on entrees. Stuffed Rock fish was incredibly dry and only sprinkled crab meat was on top. It wasn’t a spoonful of crabmeat. Therefore, it wasn’t stuffed. Told the host that we were there as it was 4 days after our wedding. Nothing offered and I’m a member. Not even a cookie. Not a good visit this time.

    We had a very disappointing experience at this restaurant. I would be embarrassed to have it under the McCormick and Schmick’s brand. The service and food did not match the typical experience of this brand.

    Waited extremely long to be served. Then, we waited even longer just to have an opportunity to request the check. As I waited both times, I noticed most of the waiters/waitresses just standing around and enjoying each other's company rather than checking on customers. It seemed that one waiter was carrying most the load while trying to wait on the majority of the customers, which slowed the service down. Eventually, I just went to the front and requested the check ... still left a tip. The Sea Bass tasted like soap. I won't be back.

    Food was good, ambiance was somewhat noisy, service was sub par. Place was not packed, waiter was very slow in service, took our coupon for free appetizer but charged us anyway, took way to long to get check, way too long to get corrected check, minus the appetizer charge……

    This was a birthday celebration. They asked if he wanted them to sing and he said yes, but they never did it. The service was slow- took a long time to get beer, the food was mediocre.

    Great service and the food was delicious. The waitress was attentive & personable. We weren’t rushed after we ate. The scenery outside was beautiful. The drink was delicious & the mood was perfect. I ordered the rockfish & it was delicious. Wasn’t a fan of the mashed potatoes. Overall great experience.

    For the price of plates the food could have been actually good if it wasn’t for our server Chrissy and the sangria’s with the view of the Ferris wheel and water it would have been a complete waste of time and money

    Pros: Location - their outdoor seating provides an upfront seat to the activities in the main National Harbor pavilion as well as a lovely view of the Potomac. Seafood - they offer a wide variety of elegantly prepared delicious seafood. My absolute favorite is their Open Blue Cobia which we haven’t found in other local establishmentts Cons: Wait time: even with a reservation we had to wait 30 minutes before being seated, even though there were several available tables in the outdoor seating area we requested. Which brings me to the second con: Service: the service was slow and uninspired. A gentleman next to us sat for more than 20 minutes before a server came. This has happened before, and my conclusion is that though M&S has good points, they seem to have an ongoing staffing issue. It seems that they are never prepared for big crowds and don’t plan ahead for holidays. We will undoubtedly go back because of the view, the menu and proximity to our home, but we will try to avoid holidays.

    They clearly overbooked for Father’s Day. We had a 6:30 reservation and were not seated until 7:30p. We were there to celebrate a birthday, which was never acknowledged. It took 20 minutes just to get water, and the bread took another 10 minutes. Drinks sat at the bar so long, the ice melted and the cocktails were watered down. Much of the food sat in warming trays and wasn’t great - rubbery scallops for ex. All this, for $500 before tip! The waiter was trying her best, which is the only reason the service got an added star.
