I knew going in it was going to be a little pricey--and that's the only slight ding in the review. My date is the more experienced when it comes to eating out and she thought everything was fantastic. My steak was cooked as I liked and I really enjoyed gobbling it down. The waitstaff was attentive and extremely helpful. We were celebrating a birthday that was acknowledged by the staff upon arrival and later with a delicious nutty-chocolatey-ice creamy dish. Will we be going back? Well, if my date has anything to say about it, absolutely! And, since the first steak was so good, I'm curious to see what the others taste like. So I'm fairly certain we will be making another visit!

The delivery of our starters was strange in that they were not served together. (Quite some time between them). The order for our mains was mixed up and partly missing. The waitress put this right, but in general it lacked the service you would expect at M&S.

John was an amazing bartender and server. He made great suggestions and the food was delicious. We'll be back for the happy hour soon!

They were obviously short staffed and our waiter was really trying hard but it took two hours for us to dine. We did order an appetizer but No one took our meal order for 45 min. We were outside and near the speaker which was really loud. The food was just mediocre - mashed potatoes were boring, broccoli was undercooked and the filet was just ordinary. Even the bruschetta appetizer was nothing special. Just not worth the money.

All was good but the menu didn't explain there were sides included. I ended up spending extra money on sides that I didn't need. If I knew sides were included, I wouldn't have purchased the truffle Mac & cheese with the asparagus. Anyways, I paid for it and wasted it b/c I was flying out that morning. Host couldn't take it back and was stuck with the bill. Live and learn.

I make it a point to go to each McCormick location when I travel I’ve been to 4 different ones so far and the downtown Chicago location did not disappoint! The background music could have been slightly lower, but other than that slight observation the food and service were excellent. When I come back to Chicago, I will definitely come back to this location.

They went above and beyond to ensure that the dinner and ambiance were just right for my 1st year wedding anniversary. Everything was perfect & I am forever grateful!

We dined here for our 6th wedding anniversary. We visited Chicago from Cleveland, OH. Although it was the eve of the DNC- Chicago, we did not experience a crowd or delay. We'd made reservations and were greeted amd seated immediately with acknowledgments of our anniversary. All of our food was absolutely delectable! Our server, Jeff was AMAZING, thorough, knowledgeable, pleasant and efficient! We'll definitely try other locations when we travel!
