Julie and the rest of the staff at M&S were wonderful! The food was amazing, as always, and the ambience of the restaurant is always enjoyable. We came here for my wife's birthday because have had such good experiences time and time again here. The steaks were perfectly cooked to order and the side dishes were consistent and delicious. This is the second time that we've gotten Julie as a server and she was so warm and personable. She remembered our names even though its been two months since the last time we were in! 10/10 would recommend M&S to anyone looking for great food and impeccable service!

We celebrated my birthday with a delicious meal that we shared. It was salmon with Brie, crab and shrimp. We also had clam chowder and warm bread. A surprise dessert was crème brûlée with fresh fruit. Our server, Frank was friendly and efficient. It’s a favorite for a special occasion. We also like their Happy Hour menu!

Ordered off the 50th Anniversary menu ... her salmon, me the stuffed halibut. Also got the wine deal with commemorative glasses. Very happy with the meal and the wine. Ryan did a great job serving us, thank you! An enjoyable evening and meal!

Outstanding food and exceptional service! I also really appreciated that I was able to reserve a table for 8 people during a busy time on Saturday night. Other nearby restaurants refused to reserve seating more than 6 people, even with two weeks notice! Every course of the dinner was fabulous, and I am so very thankful for the amazing staff at M & S in Edina for helping make our night so special!

Horrible food, mediocre service. The breaded fish was soggy and the breading was twice as thick on each side than the tiny sliver of fish inside. The veggies were colorful and attractive but nearly raw. The chicken on my salad was so overcooked it dried out my mouth in just two chews yet somehow managed to retain a unique rubbery texture I've never had in anything (supposed to be) edible. I asked my server if I could have grilled shrimp instead, when I could finally flag her down 20 minutes after it was delivered, and she whisked away the salad and said they'd make a new one rather than just bring me shrimp. I sat there for another 20 minutes while the rest of my party nearly finished their meals.. When my new salad finally came out, the shrimp were somewhat recognizable but their texture, again, was so incredibly dry and rubbery I couldn't eat them. They were cool, super hard and had a texture like I would imagine if previously cooked frozen shrimp were baked for an hour and then set aside until cooked for another 30 minutes. I scarfed down my salad while my guests all patiently waited because they'd already finished. The shrimp scampi was mediocre, with the tail on shrimp being overcooked yet not to the point to mine have been, and the bucatini made it difficult to eat with a fork, while trying to twirl it just sent scampi broth flying. I wasted over $200 on this special anniversary meal that would have been far better at a Perkins. Absolutely awful.

We enjoyed our dinner quite a bit. Our server was excellent. I would not hesitate to recommend the experience to other friends.

Was not informed that dining area was being renovated when making reservations. Subsequently ambience and dining experience was awful.
